What a coincidence - Im putting together my 1st build and your parts list pretty much matched mine ( with the exception of the case (XTIA Xproto-L ) and the gpu (which I haven't decided on yet ) and the cpu (i choose an amd 7 7700 which runs a little cooler and seemed to me a better choice for PCVR) I had the same case on my list and may eventually get one still. I haven't had time to assemble it as yet. I hope and pray I have much better luck than your situation. How frustrating. Cheers!
Crazy I've been researching various ITX cases to potentially move my desktop components to a more portable case so I can take it with me and a travel display on the go and you have just about every component I have (7800x3d, Samsung 980 Pro SSD, Suprim X Liquid 4090 but G.Skill A-die 2x32GB 6000 memory on an MSI ATX Carbon X670E) along with thinking of the same PSU. Excellent video my dude!
I have that cooler and a ID Cooling IS55 Black. I have a Phanteks ENTHOO SE Red Build(3600x/Noctua D15 Chromax Black/Evga 2080Super/2x32Gb),a Fractal Terra Jade build with a 7600/64Gb 6400 Hynix 32-38-38-48/4080FE ,and a FORMD T1 V2 build. Again the ID is a better cooler,in both cases. Great build !
Love the video. I was thinking of the almost the exact same build in the (Meshroom S) with the normal Suprim 4090, AMD 7850X3D with ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 280. Do you think this will be okay?
@@techwithray got the parts and tried to get it all in the case. Unfortunately it’s too tight, one the AIO has only 1m between the fan and the motherboard/GPU tray and it’s height make it a problem to get the original power cable out of the GPU as it hits the fan. Without case mods (extension panels) this configuration is not possible.
Nice video, I have been thinking making a similar build. Currently, i have an all Asus Rog 4090 Rig (Asus Hero z790, Strix 4090 OC, Asus Thor ATX PSU and 360 AIO Rad cooling a i9 13900K all in a lian li odyssey x black case). As amazing as it is and being almost silent, I am very tempted to ditch this behemoth setup (it's as tall as my 42 OLED display) and try my luck replacing it with an ITX build using the 13900K or 7800X3D (paired with an 360mm AIO Rad) + 4090 Founders Edition GPU and cramp it into the Corsair 2000D ITX case. Been thinking about this for weeks and know the lack of air flow in a small case will be my downfall.
Oh yea man I have a huge full tower case with great temps water cooled but mini itx is something different. It’s great because of space and its not that much louder
@@techwithrayBoth those coolers have 6 heat pipes rather than 4. They also have a 120mm slim fan rather than the 92mm on the noctua. And especially the specs on the deepcool fan seems really impressive.
Hey did your 24 pin motherboard cable feel too short? I feel like I really had to stretch it to get it to seat in right. I have almost the exact same build as you except I did a 280mm aio for my CPU and a air cooled 4090
Maybe splitting hairs but am I missing something? How is a 16.3"x12.2"x8.7" case which is 1,730 cubic inches (28.7 liters) considered an ITX/SFF case? Cubic inches*0.016387064=liters. Granted that Amazon currently has it listed as a 14.93 liter case which is impossible given the dimensions they give. A mini-ITX board is 6.7"x6.7" and a mini-ITX case is generally, though not officially, considered to be a case
Keep an eye on your 980 pro. Mine decided to go RAW, and can't be formatted after only two years. Says "device which does not exist was specified"if clicked in File Explorer. Last Samsung SSD I ever buy.
@@techwithray I am doing my research for making a itx/custom steam machine for downstairs using old parts lol (1080ti and Ryzen 1700X) so I am glad to know there are ways to keep the fans down lol
That case is so minimal! Love the vid. Glad you were able to fix your GPU issue
Thanks for the support man!

Ouuu nice build!! The Jade fractal is a true work of art
You are the goat 🐐
Ayeeee
Great build! I like using Timespy to benchmark as well.
Yea it’s a nice tool but need to see if there’s something else
niceee itx is the way
You know it!

You sold me on an aio gpu. Thank you.
Glad I could help haha
Do you have a front GYATT?
I think a better cooler for the CPU would be Scythe Big Shuriken 3 rev B - I had it in this case even with a standard 120x25mm fan
Oh dang I’ll have to check that out!
I think the best low profile air coolers would be AXP120x67 or the Deepcool AN600. Especially the latter one seems to be really good.
It’s kind of like the one I already have no? Just bigger fan?

The 24 pin didn’t feel stretched on my end. Ayeee nice build!! What 4090 do you have?
AXP-47 full copper more than enough for 7800x3d
Really???
Great content! Was looking at this case and surprised what and air cooler can do for temps on that CPU.
Yea bro it’s not too bad!! Highlyyyyy recommend it

That’s the package dimensions, not the case dimensions itself. Which is (9.73in x 6.57in x 14.25in)
What was wrong? Bad graphics card? You replaced it with identical?
I honestly have no idea. It just stopped working out of the blue. And yea replaced with the identical one
Great video, but you should have watercooled the cpu, every 4090 has waaay overkill thermal solution
It’s just all the 4090s are massive
what was that first FPS game u were playing?
Destiny 2

Oh noooo!! What the heck
Noce just wonder how to deal with this kind of system if using totally air cooling
I’m glad you asked because I’ll have a build out here soon! It performs just as good
About to do a huge 4090 + 13700K possibly with SFX 750 watt supply. I got an ATX one if I need more power.
Ayyeeee good luck!
I would probably do 850
GMK Olivia?
Heck yea!!!!
ez fix install windows 10
