There are many brands of indoor /outdoor safety glasses . Regular safety glasses are rated the exact same as the high end brands. Just saying a $3 set when they get some scratches on them are no big deal to replace or if you lose a pair . Just saying .... this is coming from a 25+ year of wearing eye pro daily.
Hey Tony. My background is in wildland firefighting. The kestrels we used to have back in the day were typically placed in a shaded area (per kestrel) to give us a better reading of ambient temp. Whenever I’m shooting at the range, I’ll put my kestrel in nearby shade if available. Have you noticed if the vortex on top of your scope gives you higher temp readings and therefore a lesser hold on your solution than your kestrel does? I’ve thought about getting the vortex, but was unsure about it being on the gun and in the sun and giving me higher than actual temp readings.
The LRFs don't get their atmospherics like the kestrel does... you have to link it to the app and the app gets it from the nearest weather station. So it's not a concern. I don't even link mine. I just remain aware of any great deviations of atmospherics and if needed refer to my kestrel for a more precise solution on those further shots.
Glad I found this channel. Great vid on the srs
This Chanel deserves millions of views and subscribers for the information given to us thank you tony big fan of you
Having access to the ranges you provide has spoiled me. The long range is sooo much fun.
Heck yeah... we built the ranges we wanted! Glad we're able to make em available to the public.

Thanks. I was wondering how they worked. That makes sense.
Thankyou for the info
Great information! Was there a piece of gear that you didn't bring that you really wish you had ?
No... if anything we had more than needed.
