Almost everything for good hike. The only thing I would add would be some bear mace. Just in case. Adding an extra box of 6.5 is definately not a bad idea.
For that rifle setup I used a 44mm head because the rifle weighed 12.5 pounds. My new rifle weighs 18+ pounds, HOWEVER, I didn't lock into the tripod as much as I thought. I usually rested my shooting bag on top and then rested the rifle on top of that. I may upgrade to the 55mm ball head at some point, but for now I'll probably keep the 44mm
Awesome! Exactly the type of video I was hoping for! Best of luck in the challenge!
Thanks! The gear held up very well. I made good choices, none of which I regret. But things will be different for next time

No need for bear stuff, lol. I'm glad I didn't take any extra ammo, lol. I took 41 rifle shots thru 8 stages. I came home with 99 rounds!
Nice to see a Mammoth gear video with a Lightweight hiking twist to it.
Great video. Appreciate the info. You said you’re in SW FL. Where do you train/shoot? Immokalee?
Very nice gear, and I love my Dude Wipes when traveling for work.
That was definitely a nice bonus at the end of the night. Find a secluded spot, drop drawers, clean up, change underwear and feel somewhat refreshed
Do you think you could post your spreadsheet gear list as I will be attempting Mammoth in 2025. Thanks
Yeah, send me an email to andrewconradyt@gmail.com and I'll send it to you
I think 🤔 you will do fine you have all the right gear to be successful
Definitely had the right gear. I hope your recovery is going well!
Andrew, great vid. Which ball-head are you using on the tripod?

Consider the Eberlestock Gunslinger 2. Amazing pack with a rifle scabbard,
My only issue with that pack is that it's 6.5 lbs. I have thought about it though
