I logged a couple hundred hours in one these and though there were. Features I liked, the overall aircraft was grossly underpowered and needed another foot of wing on each side. If I bought one for personal use, and I probably would not, I would not put anything but myself and a small briefcase onboard a a hot humid NC summer day..
Hi David, I respect and understand your comment. Personally, as a 120 lb flight instructor, I never had an issue, but you are right, the XL-2 is not the best climber on high density altitude days. Thanks for watching.
