Recorded at the legendary Capitol Theatre in Passaic, NJ. So many great shows there over the years. Grew up a few miles away. People would get lost looking for it all the time and stop for directions. Go 8 lights, turn left. Go 3 lights and turn right. Can't miss it.
Absolutely incredible! Watching him bust out those riffs on that Iceman guitar is the coolest. When you talk about the greatest American bands you have to give props to this guy, there wasn't anybody better.
You can hear the Texas blues twang in Steve's playing. This is music the way it's supposed to be played. None of the Autotune and computer junk. The more I listen to classic rock like this, the more I can't stand the noise that passes for music today.
This song is so neat ! I was born in 72 so I grew up listening to this ! If this song doesn’t make you happy , and kinda want to do something illegal kinda , kinda not lol , there’s something wrong with you 🤣🤣
This is priceless. Actually musicians playing music with no computers involved. Somehow I was raised on this music. I’m 35 and my kids are listening to classic rock and easy 70s and learning what real music is and the people jay played it !
Music Vault- Thanks a ton for putting up this video. Thank you, Steve Miller! I can't stop the chills going up my arms. These songs hit me in the heart in the same way they did over forty years ago. Dance..dance...dance...All night long. What a gem of a video.
I know this comment is old af, but i wanted to say that it’s a lot like fortunate son. Same chords used throughout. Just no refrain and intro with soft chords.
..........Rocking Me' sounded like BTO's "Takin' Care of Business"................................ .......................................BTO = Bachman Turner Overdrive.................................................. Which Isn't necessarily a bad thing....".You get up every from the alarm clock's warning...
I just love.
That they can find these old videos and they're authentic. That's great
70s party band extraordinaire! This song's on the soundtrack of the best times of my teenage daze.
Who's still listening in 2024?
