Manu was better than any other player in NBA.
He was the heart and soul of the Spurs. Spurs could have won with any player missing but not without Manu. Nothing but love and respect for Emanuel Ginobili from Argentina.

Maybe you're preffered one and is more than ok to preffered him above anyone, he was outstanding. But there is no lack of competition there man: Fangio, Di Stefano, Maradona, Messi, Vilas, Monzon. In a pure greatest athlete among a certain sport, even Lucha Aymar in field hockey or players that were trully top dogs in sports that we aren't that great as Porta in rugby or Milinkovic in Volley or De Vicenzo and Cabrera in golf...what I mean is that he is in the olympo with firts six mentioned, but we had a good share of top athletes even in not that popular sports among us. In fact in a pure just way above anyone else in a sport, argie Polo players are so far away the competition that it's not even funny, Cambiasso, Pieres, etc....

You can imagine duncan being very successful somewhere else, parker relatively successful somewhere else but ginobili is ginobili because he's a spurs. Can't see this guy anywhere else doing what he did. And he never did contemplate in changing team Nor did the spurs contemplate in trading him. Ginobili's unselfishness embodies the spurs system that won them 5 championships.
