I saw my dad for the first time in 8 years a few months ago (he was also incarcerated) and it’s really a feeling that you can’t even anticipate, you spent all these years wondering about this person and what you’d do when you see them then when you do it’s like no other feeling in the world. I used to break down crying every other week bc I missed my dad and I after I saw him it was like a weight was lifted from my shoulders. This is such a beautiful video, makes me wish I was recording when I saw my dad too. I’m so happy for this girl, yes we’re adults now but now your inner child can heal. Any fathers out there please stay in your children’s lives bc we/they need you more than you could ever imagine.

I'm sorry for your loss. This also made me 😢 too. I wish my daughter had that bond with her dad when he was alive. Every daughter needs their dad or a father figure. He passed last year in November. She now looks up to my dad as that father figure. She'll be 17 this year in October.

We don't know why he was locked up. A lot of men are in prison because women keep framing them and other women tell them that oh well that's your fault for getting framed. I saw my dad for the first time in 8 years a few months ago (he was also incarcerated) and it’s really a feeling that you can’t even anticipate, you spent all these years wondering about this person and what you’d do when you see them then when you do it’s like no other feeling in the world. I used to break down crying every other week bc I missed my dad and I after I saw him it was like a weight was lifted from my shoulders. This is such a beautiful video, makes me wish I was recording when I saw my dad too. I’m so happy for this girl, yes we’re adults now but now your inner child can heal. Any fathers out there please stay in your children’s lives bc we/they need you more than you could ever imagine.

I'm sorry for your loss. This also made me 😢 too. I wish my daughter had that bond with her dad when he was alive. Every daughter needs their dad or a father figure. He passed last year in November. She now looks up to my dad as that father figure. She'll be 17 this year in October.

We don't know why he was locked up. A lot of men are in prison because women keep framing them and other women tell them that oh well that's your fault for getting framed.
