    Perfect combo. Now I need to buy MicroFreak, again.

      It's cool cause as a midi controller it outputs some variable velocities and makes things more natural. Need an A-B Midi converter though!

    Great stuff! Are you running the headphone out from the MF to the KO II input? I’ve tried that with mine but found the MF volume to be low. Trying to figure out if it’s a cable issue, if I should consider a mixer, etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    This is NUTS man great job!! Are those chords/riffs sampled from the micro freak into the EP? Or is the freak using the sequencer at all?

      The chords are a built in EP in the KO. Freak is just played. I didn't like the soloing but I just BSed one take and quit lol
      Thanks!

    Dope man… I’ve had the Ko for a few weeks and man I love it. Actually been looking at the Microfreak, you may have helped further fuel the purchase. A couple months have past here… any new opinions on the combo since this was recorded? I’ve heard the Microfreak is worth purchase alone but I would like something extra to write melodies the KO as I’m struggling with that part. I do have the Volca drum,and the Bass and they are cool Anyways props 👊🏻

      Hey! I sold the micro freak because I’m too lazy to sound design, but you’ll get a looot of mileage out of that Volca bass for sure.

      I forgot to mention- I think you need midi converters to get them to talk

    Hey! I'm trying to get my MicroFreak to clock to my EP133 (or vice versa, not sure which is easier). Can you provide some details as to how you did that?

    • @shawnmuench
      @shawnmuench  4 месяца назад

      You have the MIDI A-B adapters right? The two devices use different standards.
      I actually didn't use clocking when I had the freak
      Microfreak - Utility - Sync - MIDI
      To get clock in via MIDI

      @KGDJLX 4 месяца назад

      @@shawnmuench Yep got it working today. Soldered myself up a cable because I didn't want to use the bulky adapters. EP133 sending clock over MIDI out and the MF is receiving clock via MIDI and all is happy in synth land.

      @@KGDJLX Good on you! I guess I never thought of how 1/8" midi would be just crossing red and black to convert, correct?

      @@shawnmuench Yep, swap tip and ring on one end, that's all that you need to do. Much nicer.
