Excellent video.I’ve traveled extensively for work and pleasure for over 40 years. I didn’t think I would learn as much as I did by watching your excellent video. Great tips and content. Thanks for sharing.
Pilots could learn from this video. Your videos never cease to entertain me. Out of the 800 or so RUclips channels I have subscribed to over the years, you're one of a few that actually watch whenever I see the videos Keep up the great work Antonio (sorry...erm...your cameraman and editor as well)
@@RealMenRealStyle it's alright. I don't think I even have notification bells turned on for your channel. However, I always get your videos in my youtube recommendations. I think the yellow or whatever bright colour you use in your youtube thumbnails easily grab my attention.
"Check the weather" - oh yes. My sister, with her then-boyfriend, once travelled from Norway to Argentina. It was July or August, and the boyo figured "Hey, it's high summer, and we're travelling even further south, so I'll just pack shorts and t-shirts!" He didn't account for the weather: July/August is the winter, that far south. So yeah, the very first thing they had to do was to get him some proper clothing... "Wear your heaviest clothing" … funnily enough, I learned that from an old history book, focusing on WW2, showing refugees from some European country or other (I think Netherlands) wearing all their heaviest clothing (wool or fur coats, that sort of thing) in the middle of summer, with a caption that went something like "When travelling far on foot, it's easier to wear the heavy clothes than to carry them in a bag".
My advices: place your contact inside your luggage; bring at least once set of clothes & underwear with your carry on/personal item if you have to check the big bags; make your checked bags distinguishable with something (a blue or black Samsonite is not gonna keep people mixed theirs or the airline find them quicker if lost). Sadly I don't like hotel soap & shampoo so I usually bring my own, but in small quantities.
As a flight attendant, I think these are all really solid tips (especially the binder clip for the razor). Also, hair conditioner has worked for me in a pinch as shaving cream. Cheers, Esteban
Great video! Since I train often when I travel, I'll take a slightly different angle with athletic gear. Since athletic fabric is designed to dry quickly (and tightly rolls well), I can wash and air dry the shirts/socks/underwear right in the hotel room, and get multiple uses from them. Athletic pants couple as pajama bottoms also. Keep up the great content!
@@nikolauskerschan8929 depens, if you want to go shopping and are more on streetwear and popular stuff ko to "Kurfürstendamm" there are shops like Zara, adidas, hm and stuff like that. If you want to shop more smart casual or suits and are in generell on a tight budget visist the "Designer Outler Berlin" it is a bit out of the city but they have great brands and great deals, or visit the zalando outlet, prices are great but the brands are more low tier. I think that "Münzstraße" is a beautifal shopping street and near by id a shop called "Shoepassion", very good quality but on the expensive side, about 200 - 400 euros
great ideas if you are travelling overnight or for a weekend. Some of us leave Sunday night and come back Friday. Checked in luggage with wheels is a necessity.
I went to Europe for a month. I used the Peak Design backpack 47L. It was a carry on and I had a small backpack for under the seat and used it for a day bag. I don’t like leather because when it rains it would be destroyed and when I was in Italy it rained a it.I know you have a sponsorship on this video. Leather is also heavy. I used packing cubes from Eagle Creek also Peak had a great tech bag and wash bag the fit will. Peak Design had great reviews that was why I bought it. On vacation you don’t have to shave everyday. Brought one pair of shoes. Used creative folding and even a military roll. I suggest everyone to apply for global entry. It gives you TSA PRE and a fast track when coming back to the United States. It took me 2 min to use the Global Entry machines while others had to wait in a long line. One more hack is that you can wash a shirt or a pair of pants with hair shampoo and hang dry by a window. I did that a lot. I was extremely happy with the Peak Design bag.
Nice Video Antonio I’m Waiting For This Travel Hacks Video and You Make it And Sorry Antonio I miss Your 5 To 6 Videos Because My Matches are Started Boxing 🥊 Today I Get the Time to Open RUclips And I Watch your Video Keep it up 👍 Faizal From India 🇮🇳
Another great vid! Love these, these are the kind of videos where I truly do learn so much! The one thing I am confused about is the "green label " labeling system you were talking about. I don't know where to info about this. Any help? Thanks
Real Men Real Style how so? It’s a common sense thing, like if you don’t wanna get hurt skiing... don’t go skiing. How to travel with less stuff... take less stuff. I get the point of it being an over 10 min video for the extra ad revenue and the sponsor probably most definitely gives you a royalty for selling the mahi bags I completely understand that. I don’t know why it was in my recommendations? I watched the video thinking hmm there must be something I don’t know and it turns out to be 60% common sense stuff and 40% an ad for a bag. At least change the videos name to something like packing tips with this mahi bag or why this mahi bag is so great or packing for beginners,/first time travelers. I got clickbated. But then again with how dumb the kids are these days they probably never thought of 90% of this stuff anyway. Not bashing you guys either the video was edited very well and the gentleman speaking was very clear and confident in his speaking. It could be helpful if you’ve never traveled before. My comment was not to be a slight to you just a FYI for people with common sense and experience. So to stay on topic of the video, I helped with a time saving hack on your own video by saying the main point of the video is pack less stuff and smaller. Like you, I helped people with no common sense hopefully try and gain some.
Razor good and fine but which airline allows you to bring a disposable razor with your personal item or carry on 🤔 I‘d rather recommend you guys shave before the trip and bring an electric trimmer. Saves you lot of trouble at the security checks 😅👍🏼
Often when I travelled, retired now, I had to have steel toed boots, always wore them. They were a pain to take off to go through the security checkpoints, but really bulked up the suitcase if I tried to take them that way. Absolutely agree with the check list and the rolling of socks et. al. and stuffing into shoes, also good for filling in around other items.
I understand you make money from video sponsors but when every video is basically a way to plug a product it really makes your videos feel cheap and less honest.

this is very helpful. especially the hack of using a belt to keep the shirt collar stiff. Thank you again Antonio

Welcome Nikolaus. What bag do you carry when you're traveling?
Real Men Real Style Probably a carry on because I am going for a five days and I do not own a nice bag from your sponsor, not yet.
I live in Berlin have a nice time, if you have any questions related to Berlin just ask😉
Ryan Dinh sure, you got any recomendations on where to go out?
