The beautiful thing is you make it all back if you are a diligent agent. With my school, Keller will reimburse me after I sell my first house. It's a win win for me. Guaranteed job and paid off school LOL.
Good thing I have photographer friends. Headshots and other similar stuff like that should be easy for them to do, and since they're friends I could probably get a discount for it too.
My potential sign on fee is 1k in the area I’m in and I was shocked with that price. I’m on the fence with joining with KW It’s a very prestigious company and that’s what I’m drawn too
This is why yo have to shop brokerage. Most of what you paid many brokers include in monthly fees. So you dont have to pay those huge sums of money. IF your state requires MLS and Board membership find a broker that absorbs that and only makes you pay a monthly fee
Thanks great info I’m so grateful for coming across your hubby and yours channel I’m definitely thinking about stepping out on faith I’d like to know which package did you choose for the course? Thanks 🌺in advance Blessings
Great information!.. If you make a separate website for yourself, does the brokerage name goes on the website?? Or does your website have to show its sponsored by your brokerage??
Wow its much cheaper where you are to get licensed. Here in NM the state requires associates to take the actual broker exam (but you can't actually be a broker until like 4 years experience) the 3 part course runs around $700 (law, practice, and broker basics) then the PSI exam is 95, the license fee is around $200, fingerprints around $60....where do you live/practice? Great video.
Very helpful due to the fact I have no experience and with no license but Keller Williams offered me an opportunity so the fact they're your first is interesting I'll definitely watch more of your videos and endeavors
Once you pass your exam they give you a paper with all the instructions on how to get your license. The license is a separate charge. Since I had already signed with Keller Williams they helped me get mine set up!
So, are all of those fees due in the beginning? Or are they spread out over time? What would be your position as an agent, if you can't afford those fees?
Im debating between Keller Williams and Exp. Not sure what to do. I feel like I want the modernity in a cloud based brokerage with virtual training. But KW has people nearby who can help guide and train me. They’re also so well established in my market. As a new agent I think I want Exp but I need KW. Still debating
I’m in the same boat! However, I did and bunch of research and I’ve read a bunch of reviews on Glassdoor. Based on those reviews, I think that eXp is great for seasoned agents but not so great for new agents!
@@arilove4320 I went with KW, but I’m switching now to EXP. Exp has an office near me also, and the virtual training is just easier and exp is a little cheaper in terms of fees.

Thank you so much for doing this! I’m in the process of getting through the course and it’s really nice to know these things ahead of time!
I joined KW just last week and I wish to find this video prior, cost is about the same in NC, thank you Myra!

You pay alot of fees as soon as you join a brokerage.
@@MyraCreely Got it! Thanks for getting back!
I missed the amount for the Sign On Fees, how much is that?
What about putting away $ for taxes at the end of the yrv

I like ur honesty and recommend you. What would b year in year cost
Did you join a team or go as a solo agent?
Something about your voice!😍😍😌☺️
Hey! What about lock boxes?
Have you sell any properties?
Where can you go into business for $3,000 ? It’s worth it in the long run
Home inspection. Start a handy man business in states where no license is needed. Quite a few well paying careers you can start for 3k or less
Did you go to real estate school? Here in Texas the school alone is 1k
I just did real estate school in Texas, aceable agent, that was $230
I only paid $69 after RW discount
@@miraclemejia1066that’s where I went. I liked it and passed the first time.
