Hey mate started following since I got my st150 earlier this month and have enjoyed watching all your videos..would this unit still be a direct replacement for the standard Sony unit I have in mine?
Thanks mate much appreciated and no never had it drain the battery could be a possible fault within the radio causing it to drain the battery you need to carry out a parasitic (if you don’t know how then search on RUclips there’s loads of videos) drain test and remove the radio fuse and see if the amperage drops
Bought this for my Mk6 Fiesta Zetec, specifically because it was advertised as fitting and came with everything you need. Installation went well but fell at the last hurdle. Had a bit of time getting it to clip in even though my interior looks identical to the one in the video. In the end had to bend some of the clips and Jerry rig it in. I probably got a dodgy unit. Aside from that though everything was super easy to install and love the fact it came with everything you need. One question I have is if anyone has figured out on the home screen how to change the speedometer from kph to mph? Overall though mate appreciate the video, it was key to assisting with the whole installation process. Cheers mate! 👌
I ended up struggling to get it back out and done away with the clips I have a completely different unit now as I wanted sounds installed, there are videos on how to do it and it worked for me but it was only temporary I had to keep reloading the file so I just left it on kmh otherwise I would have shown you guys

@@rajsingh_king hi mate I’m pretty sure I had android Audio on it but it never seemed to work right if I recall correctly it’s been a while since I had removed this radio and changed to another head unit

Hi and thank you for your video! Does it work without a key inserted and with the engine off, like the original radio? (Almost every of these radios work only with the car key inserted and half turned)
What’s the radio like a year later? My original Ford one has given up on me now and can only get radio 1 😭plus all my CD’s are now stuck in there and not playing 😂 I really want to upgrade and hope it fixes my radio problem so at least I can listen to something apart from radio 1 as it’s poo
The radio is good I only got rid of it a few months ago as I couldn’t run an amplifier for my speakers otherwise I would have kept it great value for money

Did you get the aerial adapter with the radio, I got a similar radio from Ali Express and the aerial adapter I got did not fit, so got another one and the radio keeps losing the signal . Cheers
@@6uiltdifferent the radio came with an adapter but the aerial did not fit it, not sure why, basic Fiesta, did have a stock radio. I bought another one off Amazon, but the radio reception since keeps coming and going and the radio keeps changing the channel. Most adapters seem the same so not sure if changing it would make a difference, will bit another and have a go.

@@6uiltdifferent Does your radio turns off when you turn of engine? I read that it is not good for android radio, as it should be in stand-by when off. My current old FORD 6000 CD radio turns off when engine is off.
@@6uiltdifferent ah okay fair enough. It runs android so I assume you can install apps on it right with an internet connection? Some dongles can connect and operate through installing an APK or something so I might be able to get away with that

I have buy it 2 days ago, but sent it back. Don't fit in a good way in the dash...Red light can not be changed...the price is the quality. Low price...low quality.
I know some dashboards are different as I’ve had them fit like they did in mine and not so well in others unfortunately I no longer have this radio anyways

Looks sick tbf … is the software laggy or slow at all ? Also did u need to buy a cage and other plastics to cover gaps ect?
No mate if you go for the higher spec it works nice and smooth can’t complain and it has a cage/fascia built onto it mate 👍🏻😊

Its only worth the money that you spend, but they are ok. I got one. Be aware that the microphon qualitity on the handsfree sucks.
