This work presents a new patch type rectenna with an integrated matching network and rectifier circuit. This system consists of two rectangular patch antennas, two Schottky diodes, and a RC filter. Non-radiating rectangular patch antenna is used, and the input impedance of antennas is tuned to be matched directly to the rectifier circuit. The proposed rectenna is designed to operate at 2.45 GHz with a maximum power conversion efficiency of 71.4% for an input power of 5 dBm and a load resistance of 500 ohm. The results of this study suggest that the proposed patch rectenna can be utilized for energy harvesting and wireless power transmission systems.
