Ordered both the arch mount that replaces the universal mount and the scupper mount - received today. I went with the Skupper mount for my CV4 with the GT-20. This product works perfectly as intended on my Old town sportman 120 paddle. Completely flush to the bottom of the hull and sturdy as hell!. i would recommend this product to anyone! Eric! Amazing, just got the NKF scupper mount for my Oldtown Topwater PDL 120 in the mail, 10 minute install for the entire system. Super clean and minimal wires on the kayak deck. Hey Nick, the transducer for the striker 4 doesn't seem to fit at the right angle in the scupper hole on the sportsman pdl120. The flange on the transducer hits the edge of the recess of the scupper hole and forces the back of the transducer up and at a funky angle which will aim the cone towards the back of the kayak. Is this mount not meant for the sportsman?
The transducer needs to be spun around on the 120 PDL. Down scan isn’t impacted by the direction the transducer faces. Give me a call and I can provide more details if needed.

Think there’s a way to make a retractable scupper hole transducer mount. If I understand it right to use side imaging the transducer needs to protrude from the bottom of the hull to work right. It’s a lowrance triple shot skimmer transducer going on a nucanoe unlimited. Thank you for any help.

I was just thinking about this... I think it would work if you got a longer pin going down the center and epoxy those foam golf balls on it or nerf gun balls to snug it in. One ball at the top and one at the bottom, or maybe even 2 for a tighter fit.
@@gameopsdk I ended up using a copper pipe insulator kind of like a pool noodle. I cut it in a dumbbell type shape to fit through the scupper and have ends on top and bottom to hold in place. I used a 6” long piece of 1/2” pvc and attached the ducer to it. It has enough pressure to hold it in place and I’m able to retract by hand perfectly. Pretty easy diy.

Hello, I have the Old Town Autopilot 136. The scupper hole is directly below where the Minn Kota trolling motor sits. Will the wing-nut and bolt protrude enough out of the top of the scupper hole to prevent the trolling motor from seating in the trolling motor mount?
The wing nut and bolt are not in the way when installed. The motor will sit in position without any issues.

Hey Nick, I'm picking up a brand new old town autopilot 120 in a week. I currently have the Garmin Striker Plus 4 fish finder I bought for ice fishing. So, do I just get the striker 4 transom transducer to use with the ice fishing version? And on my kayak, that bolt goes up through a scupper hole then? Brand new to the fishing kayak world but excited! Very interested in your design here.

have a 2024 Old Town 106 powered by Minn Kota. I need a supper mount for my Garmin Striker Vivid 4cv Transduce to be flush with the bottom of my Kayak. I looked at the web site to buy but it does not show the hardware (nuts and bolts needed or supplied). I have tow questions: (1) will this scupper monut be flush on my Kayak? (2) when I order it, will it comes with all the needed hardware? THANK YOU
It does come with all of the hardware needed and it will be as close to flush as possible.
I have a couple holes in my sea eagle fast track angler inflatable kayak. Would it work in one of those holes?

I think the scupper location is the better option of the two. It keeps the transducer protected.
The universal mounting area is fairly easy to it when loading and unloading.

It does. You’ll need to trim the bolt to easily plug in the motor.

Yes. You will need to trim the bolt or replace the bolt we supply with a shorter version so you can plug the battery in though.

Will this work with the Garmin Striker vivid 4c?
Does this allow the scupper to still drain a little? I understand that there’s gonna be some restriction but it’s mostly a question for general information.
It does. The top part has a groove and multiple holes for draining water.
Does the transducer wire go up the scupper hole with the mount?

Nick, I am looking at the Striker 4 cv, does this mount work for that and we have Cresent TackleLite kayaks, are we good to go there as well????
Will this work on a Bonafide RS117 I will order this in a heart beat if it’s a reasonable cost. I can send you some pics and measurements if needed. I made a crappy custom bracket out of two L brackets from Home Depot. It will work but it’s not ideal.

I have a Garmon 7SV and need to mount through a Jackson Big Rig. I dont really use the side view so I'm fine with the transducer to be up in the hole. Do you have something that will work?

It’s ok, but if shouldn’t. It makes it easy to hit.
I’ve had a transducer below several kayaks over the years. You just need to be mindful of it when moving the kayak.

I’m a big fan of the Garmin Echomap series. I use a Garmin 94SV (pretty overkill). The Garmin 73SV is a great option.

Is that the best transducer to use with the striker vivid 5 cv?
That’s the transducer that comes with the unit. I’m not sure if there’s an alternative.
@@NavarreKayakFishing I purchased the vivid 5 cv ice fishing bundle. Mine came with the ice fishing transducer. Looking through the settings the unit is compatible with about a dozen different transducers.
The GT20 is the one that typically ships with it in when ordered without yeh ice fishing setup.

That’s there to allow the water to drain.

Shoot it's not the garmin duel beam? I ordered the wrong one 😢
I assumed it was a duel beam that was default on my setting on the head unit. What's why my image looks lower quality then it show be.
No - all transducers are dual beam. That’s just the types of frequencies you can select. “Dual beam” is the proper transducer name for a transducer that comes with the cheapest Striker 4 version. Send me an email. We will get it worked out.
Jusy installed on my 106mk and the transducer is angled once tightened, the rear of transducer sits higher than the front. Any suggestions? Am i doing something wrong?
Easy solution - shoot me an email or give me a call and I’ll explain why you can turn the transducer around.

Good afternoon Nick! I ordered the scupper mount for my OT 20/21 Sportsman 120 PDL, and it seems as if it’s too large for the hole to sit flush and too small for it to sit on top flush. If that makes sense or I ordered the wrong one. I have a Garmin UHD 73SV with GT54UHD-TM.
