Hello everyone! This is the first episode to my tutorial series. Shading in hair is my favorite thing to do because it can really bring dimension to an artwork. In this video I go over 3 different ways I color in hair using Paint Tool Sai.
The version of Sai I'm using is Sai 2. However, you can still use these brush settings in the first version of Sai!

this vid was made 2 years ago, and Ik you had less subs back then! you're so underrated. Your tutorials look like they show so much effort on the thumbnail, but you used simple shading for 3 ways to shade hair and you showed in in 5 minutes! :D

AXL arts&animations it depends on the hairstyle/lighting. But generally bang highlights go in the center. Study some reference photos and take note where the artist place highlights.
