Wished,I could be back in my ole home in Hawaii and it was more than 50 years ago, sinced we lived in Ewa Beach Hawaii and thanks to my dad,he got promoted in the navy to work in Beautiful Hawaii. We lived there for three wonderful years and it hurts, not going back.I will be 67 years old in December there were 4 of us living there,My Mom and Dad and my Sister Cris and now, theyed are all gone and Im the only one left and very Single too.
That’s a cool story. I miss Kailua Beach. My dad was Air Force!
That was a wonderful story, and I hope one day you'll be back in Hawaii again. 😊
I am knowing with YOU that you return to Hawaii. Keep watching this uTube and watch hen close your eyes/see yourself flying into the airport. YES🙏🏼♥️🌏🌺
Thanks for sharing your story. I will pray for you so you can come back there one day 🕊️🙏🏼
@@everyonecallsmealii Thanks and Im hoping coming back again soon.
Looks like that pilot gave everyone on board a world class tour of Honolulu from a bird's eye view.
He was told exactly where to go by the air traffic control.
Man, what a view! The island is truly welcoming to everyone 🤗
Nothing better than the first view of the island from far away!

I'm making this approach in 4 days!!! Great video! Mahalo for sharing!! 🤙🌺🌈
I've never seen this course of view before. Always I arrive to Daniel Airport from the left side of Waikiki, looking down Ko Olina beach.
Amazing! what a capture. Always a great feeling to land in Hawaii.
I'd like to experience that feeling.
Hopefully one day you will.
@@Feed-My-Mind-Not-My-Ego you'll absolutely love it! it's just incredible.
after living in Ala Moana from 2013-2020 I have only seen that view one time and that was 8.5 years ago, very beautiful . (I live on a different part of the island now)
Thank you .. brought back some great memories. I flew aircrew on C-130's out of Hickam back in the 70's & 80's - that approach view never got old, although we usually came back over Pearl.
Thanks for an Incredible Video!
This sort of approach into Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.
in Honolulu only happens when there is Kona winds (Southerly winds) in the islands.
It is a beautiful view!
One of the best feelings landing at Honolulu to start a vacation. Well done on the video.
Thanks
That is why I love Hawaii ! Such a great flight-over. And It is still one of my most thought after locations worldwide. Great and impressive view. Great nature. All thumbs up for this fantastic film / video ! I am in the mood to fly over saspo.....
Thanks!
That's a rare westbound landing. The prevailing winds are from the east so you normally have to loop around and land facing east.
They’re called « trade winds » . A local will always know what they’re called
@@italioguy It's also an aviation term
Beautiful. I hope to go some day

Great video -- still blows my mind a 737 flies nonstop from the west coast to Hawaii!!
I know, right? On the older 737's that flight would be a cruise long before they reached those islands, but those newer engines' fuel consumption is amazing.
Next time try take the local airline Hawaiian Airlines. You will love it.
Great vid ! Going to Oahu for the second time in July, absolutely can’t wait! It truly is the most beautiful place on Earth ❤️
An amazing place!
It will be my third trip in Aug. a beautiful island.
how is it?
Absolutely Beautiful 😍
Wow.
I've never seen a landing to the west.
They were lucky.
They got a great view of downtown and the beaches at a lower altitude doing so.
Yeah I have been there 4 times and every time we land to the East.
It’s so close I saw the hotel I always go to when I go!
wow nice footage!
stunning!
Awesome
Hey you got a reverse flow landing in HNL, probably the kona winds, pretty rare!
Great video!
That’s a b737
Just got back from Honolulu. I wanna go back.

Check out the North shore of Oahu when you go back, or better, stay on the north shore

We left Sept. '21. We miss home, but not the costs.
