I had that same issue u1001 and p0720. For a while it would come and go and finally stayed and wouldn't shift past 3rd. I ended up replacing the output shaft speed sensor, input shaft speed sensor and taking entire mother board out and cleaning/ soldering certain parts that looked iffy as well as cleaning and testing all solenoids. Even bought.a donor vb and used solenoids off it that seemed to have less resistance. Took me 2 Installs and removals to finally fix it....the output shaft sensor was the worst though. Still not sure exactly what it was because after taking out the valve body the first time and after doing the output speed sensor, I wasn't going to do it a third haha, so just did a little more than I probably should have.
Mine just started acting weird, while parked it’s not letting me select mode even on the app I select mode 2 would set itself back to mode 1. But while driving it would let me select modes 1, 2, & 3 and valet mode 4 is gone. Parked my tachometer only jumps to 1 For some weird reason it will not let me go any higher valet mode is completely gone. 😡🤬
Seems strange it would just do that on its own. Although when I was retuned, my car basically got stuck in valet mode for almost 2 weeks. I would select map 1 or 2 but it didn’t matter. The car wouldn’t go past 3500rpm and it was showing about 1/2 throttle voltage on my data logs. One day randomly it started working normally.
@@SpeedCultureStudios I'm going back to aam here in Maryland Monday morning so the tuner can look at it The one I talked on two days ago he said that that was strange
I think it’s more about what the tuner has experience with. But I’ve been told that ecutek allows the tuner to more finely adjust the parameters. But yeah both good.
I have an ECUTek tune from prime Motors up in North Jersey.. I Only have a Nissan Juke AWD CVT which is the limit.. We had to back the torque down because of slipping the belt and clutches.. I'm making in reality 255 wheel torque and 245 to the front wheels. I'm making 210 in AWD on a Mustang DYNO which runs 16% slower than a DYNO Jet which most people know.. I gained 120lbs of torque to the wheels with a ECUTek tune. I'm on like a stage 2 tune because My CVT is at the limit.. I have full bolt on's all the way out the back, from the turbo down.. She's a nice little sleeper Now.. I know people either love or hate the Juke, But if you have a front wheel drive stick you can make 300/400 with a bigger turbo and a Good tune.. I'm 7 months into my tune and I don't regret it at all.. People were like it's a Juke don't waste your money, Now I'm side by side with WRX's and Mustangs, Even some of the Dodges can't pull away from me till we hit 90/100 and then my power just falls off a cliff.. But the car is fast as hell from 20 to a 100 that's for sure.. Thing makes so much torque that I really don't like nailing it from a dead stop, Feels like its on the edge of breaking something.. But I have fun once the roads get wet...
I have a guy in my area that is working on a juke. He has really put some money into it but I’ve yet to see it in the street lol. Hopefully soon. I may be able to get a review of it on the channel when it’s done
@@SpeedCultureStudios Nice, Because they are fun cars.. And they are cheap to build.. All you have to do with these cars is get a down pipe and get rid of the restrictive exhaust and tune her up.. But if your on a CVT like me don't even bother upgrading the turbo or anything like that, the stock turbo on 18 LB's of boost is more than enough to break the trans.. Hopefully the guy has a Manual, They are worth throwing a bigger turbo on and going all out.. A guy down in Atlanta is hitting 400 with stock internals.
Thanks man. Ecutek software is around $700 and the dyno time ranges but is around $200 - $300. The dongles go for like $350 but you can find people selling them for $250.
