Wow Thanks Steve! Especially for demonstrating on the Longer Ray 5, I have been looking for a rotary for my Longer Ray 5 10 watt laser! 😁🛫
After going to the link it is no longer available 🤯🛫

Most rotaries are the same. It’s basically a stepper motor so it will work with any laser. The Xtool RA2 is a decent rotary, but there are others. I have used the RA2 with my Muse 3D CO2 laser. I will have a review coming up for the new Atezr rotary system.

did you ever test it with your muse? the original rotary they sold is garbage and we cant get it to work properly EVER and the new friction rotary they have is $1500 :/

Any of these low cost rotary attachments will work with the Muse 3D, though you'll need to twiddle things a bit. I'm working on a review of the Xtool RA2 pro and will cover this in a bit more detail.

There are two different cables. If the first one doesn’t swap the other one. After that you can enable the rotary in Lightburn

@@jamesarogers3141 This is one we may have to ask the community here. I have a Mac as my primary machine so I never run LaserGRBL. In theory, you should just have to unplug the Y axis and plug the rotary in and it should at least rotate (Make sure the laser isn't powered when you do this though)
Can anyone else provide insight into using this software with a rotary?

@@jamesarogers3141 Does LaserGRBL have any sort of error log you can look at to see what error it is throwing?
It might be related to the limit switches being enabled. You would have to disable at least the Y-Axis limit switch when using the rotary.

It's $109US, which makes it about the cheapest rotary attachment you can buy.
