I often say "My Mind was hit by this" because I know it isn't me. My mind uses info to try to protect itself. I do my best to master it. My biggest fears are my children and my husband dying or anything that can hurt them. I can conquer my mind during the day but it hits me wth nightmares. I wake up screaming. I have lucid dreams But I can not control my dreams . When it is too much all I can do is scream to wake myself up. It is a habit because I did this as a child. It worked. Eventually I woke up.
Now my husband or my children wake me up. Even though my dreams are lucid and I know I am dreaming my mind doesn't think about how it disturbs my kids and husband when I scream to wake up. It is a habit and I do it because I want to stop my mind. What can I do to stop the anxiety while I sleep so I don't disturb my family. I understand I must not have Actually mastered it. I can do it when I am awake but not when I sleep. How do i master my mind while it should be resting. Thank you very much for any help. I do not want to cause any fear or sadness in my family whatsoever. My anxiety and depression came from my waking fears. I have conquered those...while awake. I'd like to conquer my fears while I sleep as well.

You are doing well... it is enough to continue on the path you have and you could try doing an excercise that will reach your subconsious to go deeper into peace, like chanting,, that is the other side of the coin. We can influence our mind with proactive positivity....but... I went trhough a period of years where my dreams were powerful and would pick up where they left off after I awakened, I suppose so I could push through my built up karma. God is always there, in charge, when we devote ourselves to Him.

Hi there just want to give you what helped me. I took vitamin b1 50 milligrams that helps with nightmares and anxiety. Look into Dr Eric Berg you wouldn't believe that our nutrition has alot to do this. Just trying to help. Also giving your life to Jesus is the best I did!! He is there always!! God Bless.
