Mine is 2023, but has 30k miles on it. No issues so far. Very solidly built SUV (by contrast my Acura RDX was having squeaky noises around its pano roof, and the power windows made terrible noise (as if their mechanism were rusting).
My only issue with the GLB, is that the seats are hard. Uncomfortably hard for a luxury vehicle. Ended up buying a 2024 RAM Rebel with the leather seats for long family and work trips because of it.

Great review! I've had a GLB 220d for 2 months now. My only gripes are that Android Auto rarely starts first time... have to unplug and plug phone again for it to start most times. Also not being able to permanently disable lane assist is annoying. Other than that it's a lovely, roomy, practical, powerful, fuel-efficient beast which gives a really smooth ride! I'm a lover of the quirky shape 😊

We are on our 2nd GLB ( 7 seat & 5 seat) having also had a GLC previously. I honestly have no idea why anyone buys a GLC as a family car. The GLB is far more versatile with the sliding seats etc. Also worth noting that the parcel shelf fits under the floor so easy to store if 7 seats needed unplanned.
Good review and video as always.

I bought a new 2022 GLC 300 in October, fully equipped. It’s my second GLC. I love the car, has more tech than my previous 2018. I was going to wait for a 2023 but still prefer the gas engine and didn’t want to be a Guinea Pig for any unproven EQ technology.

    Brilliant Nick !!
I have zero issue with my 2021 220d premium GLB ( not premium plus ) since new. Done 16000 miles on clock serviced once.
Pro: One full tank of fuel provided super long range travel, 25% of fuel brings me from Kingston to Manchester. Squarish design makes practicality to the max. The third row of seats are always good to be there for in case. 4 matic combines with eight gears gearbox is the best combination on UK roads.
Con : The welcome display is still using GLC headlights. ( In which can’t update it to GLB look…yet)
    90/100 imo
5 marks deducted from Apple CarPlay still needs to link up the dongle
5 marks deducted from the GLC welcoming
Overall it is a middle size family car I can live with for a long while. Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The 2022 model line (in stock now) - UK versions -of the AMG Line Premium plus night edition took away the automatic tailgate and memory seats which would normally come as standard due to components shortage. The fix is all weather tyres in some cases and actual fix with same tyres is replacing knuckles that correct the issue. The shape of the car is the same as it hasn’t had a facelift but best to speak with your local Mercedes for up to date specification and pricing etc

If you thought that was square have a look at the GLC's predecessor, the GLK. That was truly an ugly beast. Fortunately they didn't sell it in the UK or in any RHD market for that matter due to the steering column obstructing the driveshaft on 4wd models. They only made 4wd versions initially but then introduced rear wheel drive only models. I used to see quite a few on my trips to Germany. Great video btw Nick.

Don’t think so, I’m sure I saw a Tyre Fix kit in the back 🤓
But double check with your local Mercedes and they can let you know 👍🏼

My MB has E Z exit enter. When it comes to my 2023 MLB 250 this convenience feature may as well not exist. I am not a tall person 5' 10" at 176 lbs. I have it set to on but the seat does not move when I exit or enter. I went back to dealer and they showed me it's limitations and it is "ON". The problem is, (they say) if the driver's seat back is already lined up with the center door pillar the seat will not move back "automatically" beyond that point but, if you use the seat switch, the seat is fully capable of moving back 4/5 or more inches. M B needs to go back and redesign this so called convenience. I got around this by programing the seat memory for a 3rd. driver. I open the door, press memory "3" and the seat moves back as far as I have it programed. I get in and press memory for Myself or number "1" and the seat goes to where I have it programed for myself. The other driver in my home is memory number "2" and is shorter, 5" 7" at 145 lbs. If that driver was the last to use the car the seat "STILL" does not move. I showed the dealer this but they said driver #2 is right on the cusp of the seat limitations. BTW, I have a Ford F150 with the E Z enter/exit convenience and it operates/works far far better then my 2023 GLK 250 😝😝😝😝

Another masterpiece Nick .. sadly the GLB doesn’t do it for me though .. I looked at one in the car park of MB Peterborough .. they look like they have the aerodynamics of a sofa :( .. waiting patiently for the S class 2023 review with some of the old ‘Nick magic’ please.

I had one for a year. Oddly enough from MB Peterborough. I struggled to get over the rear window trim kink in the beginning if I'm honest but I actually missed it when i had to change. So practical & easy to drive. Mine was a prem plus with distronic which helped a lot but I was surprised at how much I liked it

No cars have autopilot, but some models have Driver Assist systems called Driving Assistance Package. I made a video about it here: ruclips.net/video/m3A8H74vMLQ/видео.htmlsi=BxVflNkscZqK0mmJ

Do you have a video that teaches activating and deactivating speed limiter and cruise control. how to make LIM indicator disappear from car display. I can't see it in the instruction book. Thanks.

What is it for the tax £570 and my car cd220 lower by hundreds. 1.5 ltr has little overtaking power. Mercs as they get more expensive still have the same basic stiff throughout. Smoke and mirrors....

Tax is UK government, it’ll be nothing to do with the car manufacturers.
In the UK after 2017, if the car’s list price is over £40k then the tax will be in the higher banding if it’s a petrol, diesel or hybrid. I believe at the moment Electric cars are exempt from this for now.

Great!!! However it is October 2023, and I just purchased a 2024,,, SLE350 W4 with AMG wheels and suspension parts. 🫨 I am 62, and a single, Roman Catholic Monk, w/0 kids!!! LoL. The only point is that my car is a "2024" ( The steering wheel is from a 2023 Maybach!!!) I have a Burmester and ambient lighting. I see a lot of parts from my 2018 300SLC??? I agree that the rear cargo bay is amazing and has everything including a coat hook on the lift gate!!! So, I paid for the front seat, and features, and left the back seats like a nice luxury car with ac. Seat heat/cool, and lights!!! Thats it!!! No one will ever ride back there anyway, and if the do they can control the entertainment system with a cell phone on, "Mercedes 'Me" and change the settings!!!
