    Alright Fraser... thanks for the video... the tails that you used Loctite 577 were they tapered?.. or can you use parallel?

    Hi thanks for this video, what did you use to connect the 15mm pipe to the valve, loctite sealant 577 or tape? thanks

    Very neat pipework

    I believe you have that mixer laying on its side. Should be installed vertically

      No because it’s a side bare and it houses a hand held on it

  • @mendyourhome
    @mendyourhome 2 года назад +2

    That's a lot of loctite 🤣 just ¾ around the first few threads and it just covers all the way as you thread it in.

      @@fraserhoehle2256 it'll last a thousand years. Gives peace of mind because if means behind the tiles after its just been done 🫣😱

      That feels very wrong, using Loctite for something that should be de-mountable. If the mixer will fail and you need to replace it, you have to cut down the pipes and replace them completely. You should think about the next person coming after you..

      @@razyellss It's Loctite 577 and medium strength, so you can disassemble

    Why would they put the mix outlet on the bottom of a shower valve? Seems like an odd design choice.

      Very odd mate but it’s quite cool the whole valve set up

      @@fraserhoehle2256 is there any reason it the valve shouldn't be installed the other way up? Simply because of where my feeds come from, it would be easier to have cold+mix on the top, hot on the bottom.
