I've owned several ESP/LTD guitars but my favorite out of all of them is my Matte Black Snakebyte. I will always buy/play ESP over anything else, they are simply my favorite brand. I envy James Hatfield and some of the other artists, I would love to design my own ESP guitar! Keep on Rocking ESP!

Since the first time I started to pay attention what artist were playing was in 1986 with George Lynch M-1 Yellow Tiger and I have been a fan of ESP ever since. My favorite line today is the LTD Black Metal line and LTD Arctic Metal line. There are other great brands(Solar) but no one does it like ESP/LTD does.

I have an ESP bass and it is the highest qaulity instrument Ive ever owned, LTDs are fantastic too, same qaulity but made in Korea to keep the cost down.

Esp is the best, they don’t really try marketing because they’re products are world known

What became of the Navigator brand ? Why no mention of Grass Roots or Edwards guitars ?

Out of all my guitars nothing plays as well as my 1999 LTD MH300. Most people have that one guitar that's an absolute player. my 99 is just that.

Had no idea the KH-2 was introduced in 89, I haven't seen any footage of Hammett playing any other ESP around that time except for the one that featured the Jackson style headstock (which was the version that was supposed to be the first signature model) and a Flying V model which became the KH-1 (I thought the KH-1 was Kirk's first signature?) .

too long, didn't see: Metallica helped ESP's fame to grow quite a lot.

If your stuff is made in China now I guess that rules out buying an ESP.

Erduk, our ESP Original and ESP E-II models are made in Japan. Our ESP USA models are made in the USA. Our LTD models are made in Indonesia, Korea, China, and elsewhere.

I have the ESP Ltd H-7 40th anniversary model. It’s my favorite guitar that I own. The unique matte trans black finish on the quilted maple is out of this world. It’s definitely a keeper for life!
