I loved the checked blouses! Looked great with scarf! The pants were pretty unusual in fit.

Hi Julia, fellow fa here in LA. I am so glad to see someone else having some problem with the sizes because I did as well. I see you got the classic fit pants. You need to exchange those for the slim fit for sure. Has a flat front instead of pleated bunchy fit and I think the slim leg better for you. My favorite on you is the short sleeve jacket and A line skirt. The sleeves on the dress look big/loose while dress looks fitted. I think short sleeve dress will look better. Surprisingly I liked the plaid shirt better than white on you. But honestly for myself, so far I'm not sure I'm really loving our new uniform. I think the scarf is kind of ugly. At least we have time to sort it out.
Hi Gazelle! I am excited to have a new uniform but I also am not 100% in love with it. I'll definitely be exchanging the pants and tailoring the rest. I emailed them yesterday and I'm exchanging one of my skirts for the short sleeve dress. I agree the scarf is not my favorite especially with the plaid, it looks too busy to me.
Love the blazer on you. Like the plaid shirts. I agree with you about the pants. Don't really care for the dress because I think it looks too matronly.

Dear Julia, your modesty is off the chart. Down to earth, genuine, gorgeous inside and out, educated, energetic - I wonder why Eric is not putting the ring on it. Maybe I need to fire up my G650ER (G700 is on order) and come over and have a man-to-man talk with him.....😀
You should make a video about when you when you wear your different types of uniforms. Can you choose whenever? Or do different uniforms mean different things?
We can whichever one we want on the job! They give us a wide variety to choose from ☺️

Short sleeve blazer 👍 I have the same issue with my uniform button down shirts... makes me look like I have a pot belly at times 😆

I preferred the old ones, the new ones they were not looking for the great couturiers, this is only my opinion.
As mentioned below, even with the worst uniform pants, you are very pretty.
I liked the gray uniforms as well but hopefully these will look classy!

Hi there, happy new year! I have heard they've been having problems :( Our new uniforms were highly tested for safety and wearability. We even had FA's wear test them to work for months before all employees received them, so I feel confident!

Them pants are a big NO! I think the dress makes you look soooooo professional! The skirt and shirt are cute too, I'm liking the white shirt, looks again so professional.

I graduate training in March so how will we have time to resize and tailor our uniforms?? I know for sure mines will all be too big. And sorry I'm under like all your videos lol I'm on a mini binge :)

Jetting Julia all those shirts seem to be on the large waist size , so they all need tailoring...hopefully your company will pay for that also! Hope you are recovered from your cold !

I wish we could wear tank tops! When we officially switch over to the new uniform we are ONLY allowed to wear pieces they send us and nothing else. 👩🏼✈️

I know some AA pilots. They hate their gray uniforms. AA pilots have been wearing dark blue uniforms for decades. They feel that gray looks wrong.

Love it, im not a flight attendant but a crossdresser who likes to dress as one, i have a short sleeve dress and scarf from now defunct airline thomas cook in the uk, i love it always with glossy tights never trousers haha x

Arghh and avast JJ, you be lookin like a pirate in those long sleeve white shirts. Although I have to say the plaid shirts are kinda cool lookin. I’d agree with a few others that 7 and 8 look the best.

You might try a smaller size in the pants. I watched other flight attendants try ons and all the pants were short but more fitted especially they were fitted around the ankle and that looked good. The dress looked good on you. After the blazer is altered or a different size I think it will look good. I also like the blue and white blouse. All the blouses will look good once they are altered. Did you get any of the blue sweaters? I know some flight attendants got those and they looked really nice.
I did get the blue sweaters I just didn’t show them in the video (not sure why I didn’t lol). I should try a smaller size in the pants, and I think all the pieces will look much better once it’s all tailored ☺️
They all look nice. I’m a customer service agent for an airline in Washington state and we all got new uniforms. I like them but they came in 2 shipments (and still missing one piece)

Was wondering...Does this Delta lawsuit against Lands End impact the uniform change over?
They should allow you to have the option for "Made to Measure."
I really like the plaid shirt on you. The blazer needs to be tailored in at the waist to accentuate your figure. The scarves should be in solid colors if worn with the plaid shirt. You look better in the short sleeve shirt. Is it more comfortable than the long sleeve for working in? By getting them tailored, they will look much better. Check out the new overcoat for Hainan Airlines FA's. It is really quite stylish. Maybe too much so for an American airline! Good luck with your new uniforms! Thank you! I like short sleeves better that way I can wear a sweater when I’m cold and not overheat when the plane is warm. I am hoping everything will fit better once it’s tailored! I’ll check out their uniforms I bet they’re so stylish! I am definitely proud to wear it though! 👩🏼✈️✈️
Definitely the short sleeve blazer option and the dress. The dress would even look better on you if it was belted or had maybe a scarf tied at the waist. Imo

Trying not to sound like I'm mansplaining but the S/S shirt looks like it will fit okay without altering if you tuck it in differently. You can fold a pleat just behind the each of side seams to draw in all excess fabric that would pool around the waistband. Saves the expense of back darts and will not ruin the pattern of the plaid shirt which actually looks great.

I look forward to another try on video after your exchanges and/or tailoring is completed. I have seen 10 try on videos now and in every one of them the person hated the sizes and returned almost everything as being to big. I honestly think Lands End deliberately made them to big to benefit the attendants who need the extra belly and hip room in the shirts and blazers.

How do you deal with Luna hair ? To be honest, the clothes look like Lands' End has a generic body pattern shape that fit a range of people knowing that tailoring will done after the fact. Kinda makes sense though when you send clothes through the mail. But, you don't look comfortable in some of them-especially the pants !
Do you have to wear navy tights or can you wear suntan pantyhose?
Did your order give you a petite option? I assume they must have petite and tall options....
I love the dress best, and skirt with blazer second- I am also small and petite and this is surprising they aren’t darting those button down shirts at the waist and the long sleeves not available in a more flattering cut for petite arms 🙄 I mean, this is like trying to shop off the rack and uniforms should be better in customising for your size....
Don’t know that I am impressed with any of the uniforms. That said, I like the plaid shirts since they give a better contrast with the pants and skirts. One thing I’ve been curious about is why they have you wear the scarf tied around your neck. It sort of looks more live a collar than a scarf. Seems like it would look better if it went under the collar like a man’s tie would. I also agree with one of the other comments that you should change to the flat front pants which give a more slender silhouette.
Does American ever try to coordinate uniforms for a crew? I notice they almost never match.
The hope is that with the new uniform everyone will look more cohesive 👩🏼✈️
The trousers would have looked better if they were longer and had a flat, not pleated front. The plaid print is ok, but too busy if the scarf must be worn with it.
I love getting my clothes tailored. I feel so much more put together when everything fits just right.
