Me too! I made almost all of his cookies and they were incredible! I found out I love baking cookies 😍 thank you John!
Triple amen to your statement!!!
Same here! 🙋♀️
Same for me. My love for baking started since I started following John’s recipes!!!
A Bialetti. I‘ve got my one from my grandpa. He was an Italien and the Bialetti is round about 70 Years old.
I make my coffee every day and remembered to him 🥰
That looks delicious! Every recipe I have made from your channel turned out amazing. Thank you for sharing! ❤️
Cheers, John! Thanks for sharing a cocktail recipe to end a perfect, snowy day.
espresso martinis can be an awesome dessert drink. you can also use vanilla vodka and/or add some frangelico or some godiva liqueur.
Chocolate covered espresso beans for the top... a treat to eat at the last sip.
Love espresso martinis. However I’d replace the simple syrup with Baileys Irish Cream.
Or
Brown Cream de Cacao
Or
White Cream de Cacao
I also look for and use specialty coffee or chocolate liquors that smaller wineries or distillers produce. All add a slight tweak to a wonderful drink.
Your move with Baileys sounds wonderful and will try it this weekend. My wife loves both Baileys and Espresso Martinis 🍸
I’m looking forward to making this for her.
Replace coffee liqueur with baileys and it’s a white espresso martini
Kahlua is pretty sweet , I agree with the Baileys or a flavored vodka like butterscotch. It gives me buttery nipple vibes
Id change it for a shot of hazelnut syrope
I love it with Bailey’s too , good shout
I’ve always wanted to try this drink. It looks so yummy!
I ended up at whiskey distillery in upstate NY, Black Button, who make some great vodka and coffee liquor (among so many other options) but also a “Bourbon Cream”. These three together was a beautiful combination for an extremely tasty Espresso Martini! 10/10 would recommend.
John, I use your recipe for all of the holidays you are the best cook/Baker you are my favorite youtuber please make more videos
Great recipe. The cocktail tasted awesome. Thanks John. Going to make espresso martinis for myself all the time now!
Yum! Looks great. Thanks for the recipe, we will try this!
Just made this and wow, brilliant!
Thank you so much for sharing. Happy cooking💕
Wow Looks so delicious😍
Perfect and easy coffee recipe 💖💖
Also Demerara simple syrup over regular adds more toasty/nutty flavor . Add a dash of frangelico if you wanna get fancy
so excited to try this thanks john happy new year to u and your family!!!
dude you're the best - i love how you give me a story to tell while I'm making these at the event!

That is amazing 🤩 (you have inspired me my whole life!)
😍This is a great recipe! 😍
They are so delicious. I now serve it for Brunch.
I've always loved an espresso Martini. You can also make a French vanilla espresso Martini by adding a kiss of vanilla and a hint of cream prior to shaking.
I’ll have to ask for this
Great video John 😊😊
Preppy kitchen I love them 👍😊❤️

So inspiring
John merry Christmas to you and happy new year to all in family especially ❤kids and aunt rita
This espresso martini looks cool John! I can’t drink it right now, but I definitely will in a few years! 🍸 ☕️
This is my moms favorite drink I’m trying to make it for her because it’s New Year’s Eve
How long do you need to shake ideally :)?
I’m going to make this for my husband when he gets home from a hard day of work lol
Have you so yet?
Cheers to u john🤩❤
Well that's a mighty festive drink, I'll have to make that, & especially since NYE is just days away!!! Have a fabulous New Year in 22, since the past 2 years, oy!!!!
Very cool that a moka pot is used. 👍🏻
But IMO Mr. Black from Australia is head and shoulders above Kahlúa. The quality of that cold brew coffee liqueur is amazing ❤️
Inspired me to get tipsy on New Year’s Eve
But hey man your such a cool person and one of the nicest guys and I hope your family is doing well
Yum! 😊
I like expressos but never had a martini.this could be great
Never had espresso martini. I think I'll give it it try. What's better than coffee and booze😂🙌🏽 thanks for sharing. Xoxo love from Trinidad
Good idea for toof mornings
love espresso martinis! the best one I had so far had a bit of cinnammon in it, too and it tasted fantastico!
YUP! Definitley adding that to it
I don't like espresso. I don't like martinis. So, of course, there's nothing left to do but try this ASAP. Happy New Year to you and yours!
Thanks for sharingL
My local resturant uses this recipe and i just found out lol god i love the internet now i can make it anytime
Love the Esma (as we say in our country), but the Kahlua is sweet enough by itself for me.
oooh! nothing like a lush on speed.
I made this the other night for my husband and me and it turned out fantastic. The next go around, I will add a touch of chocolate and see what happens. I might use salted caramel vodka in another version too. Let the experiments begin!
Try Vanilla vodka.
Yes, you may also try peeing in it. I assume it will add some nice balance of saltiness... Keep experimenting!
Looks good, all my favorites in one drink! Now I can be an alert drunk! LOL
"Shake, shake, shake... shake, shake, shake... shake your boo" Lol! I love Brian! 🥰 😎
'How Dare you?" 😆
What is simple syrup?
Omg that looks delicious. Where’s mine? Lol
I love Tito's vodka! In fact, am currently drinking a Tito's and Squirt. Yum!
Hi sir my family always enjoy your all desserts..I have one question pls reply me...
In which catagry to come cooking channel?
How to and style or education, or people and blogs pls reply I am from India..thnks
This is a delicious cocktail! While constructing the drink, though, chill the glass with ice and a little water.... it will keep the cocktail cold (an old bartenders trick😉)
Nice
And just like that! I am running to my Keurig to make a shot and wait 'til it cool down to try this.....
Cheers!
Dare I ask… would using decaf espresso ruin it?
Nice 😋😋😋
Thank you for sharing! I have never seen anything uglier!
Can you please make a rum too?
I work in a coffee shop and that's the only reason I'm here. vodka looks like water and helps customer service skills XD
Espresso Martini is my dessert in a glass
I see you are using a moka pot (napoletano coffe). Is that ideal for this recipe or can I use normal espresso from a normal espresso machine also?
Normal espresso definitely works too!
We're can't I get that liquor shaker
We use vanilla vodka. Great drink video.
I sell espresso martinis at my restaurant :) ppl love them
Gonna make a brown sugar shaken one
Goodness... Please tell hubby no offense, but I think I fell in love with you when I watched you pour that drink 😄
I heard not to shake it super hard bc of the liqour…to shake it lightly but enough to make it like a martini
I use basically the same recipe, but I don't anywhere near having that much foam on the top of the drink. There's just a small, thin foam. What am I doing wrong?
Not shaking it long enough
What was that absolute banger of a song?
Coffee n cocktail?
The mistake I made it almost explode is adding very hot espresso to ice and shake it until the ice got molten
i did with reheated coffee 1,5oz of vodka, watery ice and it work it perfectly! just shake it well 😂
It all depends on the expresso that you use to get better flavor
How does his come out so foamy?
I’ve found using tequila instead of vodka is so much better. It tastes smoother.
Pro Sound bro
Your audio goes to right channel at about 1:09 then comes back, sounds like an open in your mic left channel wire or a loose connection on the jack.
nice sound4
2oz vodka
1/2oz coffee liqueur
1/2oz simple syrup
1oz espresso
Shake with liberal amount of ice until frothy and pour into martini glass
1:18
"it's like cofee but for nighttime"
LMAO, more like a martini for the morning hour if you ask me!
Sorry not to sound like an idiot but is this a thing ? Like is it a known drink and taste nice ? It looks delicious tho
It's very tasty, but you may want to skip simple syrup as it makes the drink too sweet IMO.
Thanks for making me go to a completely different site to get the recipe that doesn't have measurements. Also not getting to the point until half the video so I can't scroll to a specific point
