Aaron Hildebrand ehhh i definitely did not recover after this. After many relapses and headaches i checked myself into a rehab and ive been clean for a bout 2 months now. I dont wish anyone this type of hell ive gone through. Im never gonna praise jesus and all that bs but im doing some soul searching and im finding out alot about myself. I wish that people will educate their kids better about this hellish drug.

Apperantly he was depressed because all of the band members went home to their girlfriends and wifes for christmas and he still had nobody so he went nuts.😅

I love Vince's spit fire, rapid machine gun voice. No one has been able to ever duplicate his voice. I think his being of Latin descent (half Mexican) along with Nikki being half Italian which is also Latin along with Tommy being half Greek which is a rapid spoken language and produces some hyper ass, adrenaline fueled people, my mother being one of them, gives them a very unique and intense sound that compliments each other beautifully and can not be copied.
I just wanted to say how happy I am to see them back together and getting ready to stomp on the world again planning their stadium tour . The world of Motley Crue has a big effect on my life and seeing them hanging out together is peaceful

He said tommy wore gloves to prevent him from biting his nails because he did it so heavily. It’s hard for people that don’t struggle with addiction to read addicts. Most people have this image in their mind of addicts being helpless people that are generally brain dead and look like zombies. This is just so not the case. There are many type of addicts and each of them have a unique relationship with their addiction, yet very similar. Generally, addicts are extremely intelligent people. A lot of them are high functioning. You would never be able to tell. Your high functioning, lawyer neighbour could be a dope junkie, without you ever noticing. Nikki was a extremely well spoken en intelligent guy, he knew exactly how to manipulate himself and others just in the right way to keep his addiction going. This is one of the many “talents” of addicts. Manipulating everyone and anyone, convincing them and theirselves nothing is wrong, so that they can continue feeding their horrible disease called addiction without anyone trying to interfere with it. When I see Nikki, I see many of my friends from the past, I see myself when I was a teen. It’s the way broken addicted people are wired. They look like a strong person from outside, almost perfect, glorious, or maybe just dreamy. Someone that makes your eyes spark. Someone who you might look up to, or who you would want to be. While in reality there is a lot of darkness, lack of self concept inside. That’s all repressed by the addiction ego.

@basamente Track marks arent as visible as you think, and quality of the video is old, so you wouldn't really see them that well anyways, and the general injection spot is the crook of your arm, and veins being collapsed isn't visibile unless your looking straight down at them in light. and those scabs wouldn't be very large either because well... a needle isnt big at all, and the scab that forms over a track is different from if you get a scrap or cut.

This is 87, not 86. They were touring the states in Dec 86 for Theater of Pain. This is definitely Dec 87 for the GGG tour. So my guess is that they fudged the date of Nikki's birthday by a day or 2, celebrating belatedly....close enough, just for the publicity. One of the books, I dont remember if it's The Dirt or The Heroin Diaries said that the Japanese fans were really into Nikki and Tommy. A birthday celebration for a beloved rock star probably ramped up plenty more excitement to the Japanese fans.

@basamente Track marks arent as visible as you think, and quality of the video is old, so you wouldn't really see them that well anyways, and the general injection spot is the crook of your arm, and veins being collapsed isn't visibile unless your looking straight down at them in light. and those scabs wouldn't be very large either because well... a needle isnt big at all, and the scab that forms over a track is different from if you get a scrap or cut.

He's typical very composed during interviews. He was strung out here, and even said he wasn't feeling well. And, agree with you, still sexy....always to me.

This is 87, not 86. They were touring the states in Dec 86 for Theater of Pain. This is definitely Dec 87 for the GGG tour. So my guess is that they fudged the date of Nikki's birthday by a day or 2, celebrating belatedly....close enough, just for the publicity. One of the books, I dont remember if it's The Dirt or The Heroin Diaries said that the Japanese fans were really into Nikki and Tommy. A birthday celebration for a beloved rock star probably ramped up plenty more excitement to the Japanese fans.
