As sir stated, relying on any coaching material or on classes only will never fetch you results! Being an aspirant since last 2 years, I have realised why I have not been able to clear UPSC, just because I relied on classes completely!! Kindly don’t repeat this mistake, coaching should only be seen as guidance, rest, multiple times reading minimum sources, extensive googling will never disappoint you if done in a proper way, supplemented with good practice of PYQs and self-assessment :) Ps: you are doing great work sir, and helped me a lot 🙂
@ak My optional is history. What’s yours? I would suggest, if your optional is your major subject, and material is available in the market of any renowned institution, you can only follow the material, answer writing practice pyqs (mains) , analysis of topper’s answer copy, multiple revision, youtube videos would do
@ak don’t choose your optional as per anyone’s advice! Interest is must…if you are considering geography and anthropology, plenty of material is available for both these subjects…you should go through their syllabus and previous year’s questions along with topper’s answer booklet…take you time, and then decide, don’t listen to others…once you decide the subject, update here, I would suggest you teachers for both the subjects
