Wide stance belt squats transfers great to my squat , adding in some goodmornings to address the core and lower back and some narrow stance belt squats for the quads
Lmao "sumo squats". Anything to cry about how you still squat 225, huh? It's called manipulation. Closer stance to hit the quads better, wider stance to hit hamstrings better.
I never understood how people can load up the belt squat so heavy unless the machines have different leverages. My squat 1RM is 250kg and the maximum I've done sets on the belt squat is like two plates a side.
That's crazy. 250kg is my 1rm as well. I also never load anything more than 2 plates or so for sets of 10-15 reps... The pivot arm can make a huge difference for increasing or decreasing the moment arm. I have never used a squat max MD belt squat. But I do hear that that is very "natural" at how the squat is executed.
On a belt squat you’re carrying the weight through your hips with a lower centre of gravity, and also ‘sharing’ the weight with the pivot point on the opposite end of the lever arm so it’s a vastly reduced felt load to what you lay across your shoulders. One draw backs of the commonly seen belt squat attachments you see on racks is too short of a lever arm. The Rom radius is smaller so they tend to pull you in at the bottom, transferring load into the knees which is not ideal.
Its dependent on leverage Some machines have a shorter arm than others. Think of the lever fulcrum point, longer arm = more mechanical advantage but it also means less overall force required to move the weight. Attaching the belt closer in often humbles people very quickly

@@kingcreed348squats dont work hamstrings at least not good. And not doing the full range of motion leaves a lot gains on the table.
@@kingcreed348 btw 225 squat with full depth is more impressive than any bs you got going on.
Squatting 225 atg = 450 going to parrarel
I love this machine- I love putting my feet closer together as well for a really good quad workout
is there any way to prevent the belt from chafing against your thighs?
Which belts do you use? Mine kills the crotch area with anything over 250lbs. Is this Spud Inc?
I'd recommend using a jack strap.
@@justwannabehappy6735 I got the Spud Inc one works great on Titan Squat Max MD I got.

My issue with barbell squats is i go to the gym alone so i have no one to spot me
This sounds like Tim the bear from the Cleveland show 😂😂😂
Gotta being this feet way closer fellas
I cannot squat at all to save my life but on the belt squat at 52 years old I do 320 kg for 10 reps without much trouble .
It's probably a better exercise anyway, try to go ATG
It's better than back squats, anyways. At least for legs. Barbell squats is for legs, core, lower back to an extent (spinal erectors).
It's gotta be better than just playing xbox.
Is that Arnold singing?
Wrong stance,tó wide 😂😂😂 ankle mobility
Half reps
