I found the Slammu I had as a kid a few years ago at a flea market. I am pumped for this! I'm glad these aren't exclusives also. Hopefully price won't be too bad either. Can't wait!

I've wanted new Street Sharks toys for AGES, and when Mattel teased a 30th Anniversary line last year, I was simultaneously pumped AND a bit concerned that it'd be a Creations-exclusive release that'd cost an arm and a leg. (Like those previous ones based on the prototypes.) SOOOOOOOOO happy it isn't the case and that they're going the Origins route, as that's EXACTLY what I'd want from new Street Sharks. Just seeing those classic cage packages fills me with SOOOOOO much nostalgia, and each figure retailing for only 25 bucks a piece is a total dream come true. Will be pre-ordering the whole wave, as THIS is something truly special for me.
I think some companies are paying attention to what Mattel is doing looking at Loyal Subjects Strawberry Shortcake dolls and TakaraTomy's awesome Missing Link Optimus Prime. It looks like Playmates might have tried replicating that with their "sorta retro" 2022 Star Trek line but they didn't get it right. Maybe they'll try again with the Turtles after all of these reissues
I might get these for the same reason as Dan. I want a street sharks collection, but the vintage ones have skyrocketed recently, and I dont want them THAT bad. But for retail prices, i'd buy them.

Jawesome! The "Street Sharks" are back! You don't have to be a kid in grade school in the 90's to like "Street Sharks", I used to watch the show when going to high school, and I currently own the complete series on DVD of all 3 seasons of them.
The street shark toys were one of my favourite toys growing up, absolutely loved them, funny though cos of the actual series I only really remember the first couple episodes and the Moby lick one

My son will definitely want the orca figure. Orcas are his favorite ocean animal of all time. As my son constantly reminds me, orcas are the largest species of dolphins.

I've been checking on street sharks updates every so often for years now. I have 2 original boxed figures. Just did my regular check up and saw they're releasing these! Just ordered one of each!!! I remember being 5 years old, looking at these in the store. I was so tempted to buy 2 of each so I could play with them hahs
I still have my Blades figure from my childhood. I'm very eager to see the full line get produced, the new paint work is flawless. The richness of blues on Jab's camo pants is worth the price alone. Hope the initial line does well & we can get all 4 brothers back, don't forget Radical Bends too!
I love vintage Street Sharks but getting figures that aren't completely beat up can be a little pricey. The paint on that real feel skin just did not age well being tossed around in kid's toy boxes over the years. This will be a nice way to get something close enough, just like Origins is a nice way to get affordable MOTU without having the leg bands disintegrate if you look at them.
Hopefully there’s more street sharks characters to come! Thought they’d have made slobster the lobster in the initial line, the original figures in the 90s. Extreme dinosaurs would be cool to bring back as well.

Street Sharks is a cool idea. As a kid the toys cost a bit more than the $4 basic TMNT figures, so I never bought any. I actually wanted to get the puppets more than the figures.
This was right in my wheelhouse, I had ripster and the Jax so it would be great to get them again. Always kicking myself for selling them off years ago.
I love these! Be great to see small soldiers getting a rival as well as extreme ghostbusters. I’d like to see classic cartoons like men in black and jumanji getting the revival treatment as well.
Dan. If McFarlane did an Origins modernization on the Super Powers line, I'd have been all-in. And yes, Playmates would make a killing with updates to the vintage models with modernized articulation.
This is really cool! I'm like you Dan. I was too old when these came out but when I got into collecting as an adult, I thought these were cool toys. If they aren't too expensive, I'll be picking them up.

So happy that this new line of Street Sharks is getting a wide release. I hope Mattel will give us Masterverse style Street Sharks as well. I would love to see Street Sharks posed along with the TMNT Ultimates! from Super 7 and be able to see eye to eye with some of the larger mutants.
I didn't have the action figures, but I did have a giant rubber puppet of the brown one with hard plastic teeth I used to torment my sister. I hope they remake those too!

The Hammerhead shark was brown in the show but the Toy was gray instead. I hope to get a brown figure of the Hammerhead.
The G2 version of Jab was metallic silver correct, G1 was brown like the show.
