    Excellent. It's always fun trying to the window up in the middle of a Minnesota winter. ;-)

    Hey. Thanks for the video. I’m about to do mine. Did you make the right angle by cutting it? The 90 degree turn looks so sharp.

    What does cold have to do with the old seals stopping the window going up or down

      @@FamilyAdventuresOverlanding - No problem. I figured it out. It was a little trick with the side glass, but I didn't have to remove the sliding glass.

    nice video. Looks like someone has been trying to jimmy my door locks from the outside as they poked holes through all of my door window belt seals. Anyone know of a metal replacement for those outer door belt seals?

    Do you use any glue ?

    • @FamilyAdventuresOverlanding
      @FamilyAdventuresOverlanding  4 года назад +1

      deme lofa I did not. Just soap to aid in pulling them in. The rails are pinched in several places to help retain the seals. Thanks for watching!!

    Helpful video - but too vague in the sense that there are no part numbers listed or sources for the replacement parts. This would be extremely helpful. After watching the video, I know how to replace the window channel/weatherstripping, but I don't know the part number, or where to get it. So I'm still stuck. Thanks for the installation demo at least!

      The parts were as simple as going to the Toyota dealer and ordering them. These older Land Cruisers still use exploded parts diagrams for looking up parts. Have them pull up the diagram and you can simply point to the correct parts.
