Fully sick bruh - the old rubbers actually fell down and broke the motor's drive on the regulator that I had just replaced, so should have done these also when I did the regulators & motors
Good work. For specific parts like that, I too would choose genuine. 'Coz you know they will just fit perfectly and work. Plus hopefully will last as long as the original ones.
Thanks to your video replacing my drivers side strip was only a 5 minute job, only did the one as the rubber had completely failed. I managed to get a full set of chinese knock off's for under $120 and they were surprisingly good quality. Will be replacing the rest on my next day off.
Hi i have the same problem with my 97 80 series and i am in the UK, would you have the part numbers to hand of those windows strip seals by any chance? i appreciate your in Oz, but i could search here for the parts, before i took the plunge and ordered from Oz
You should be able to get part numbers from this www.ebay.com.au/itm/192734390596?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=kgqgGZQsRL6&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=5G_JxmiER7-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Thanks a bunch for this. I'm trying to locate that part.. any idea of the part number (for back right strip in particular) or links to where you got it by any chance?
This is the set I purchased. It should have the part numbers www.ebay.com.au/itm/192734390596?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=kgqgGZQsRL6&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=5G_JxmiER7-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I need to literally do ever seal on all windows on mine, especially the boot side windows that slide, you need the strength of Hercules to slide them open at the moment lol I have found all the seals and stuff super expensive for what is essentially a bit of rubber though :( The electric windows are also super slow I think because of some of the seals Cloth on the screwdriver is fantastic idea
Yes it’s all super expensive 🙁 I did all my Bailey channel with unbranded and just cut the corners to fit. It made a big difference to window speed. I also picked up speed when I changed my fusable link. Until I was able to replace I put silicon spray in all window rubbers. It helped a bit.
Just did mine ,
Thanks for your detailed process, it made it so easy
I should have done this along time ago
Great video mate thanks for creating an sharing

@@shaneferster8642 bummer. Always something to fix

If they last as long as original I should never be replacing them again. That would be good.

Glad it went well for you
Thanks so much. I`m going to replace mine today!
I’m glad you found this useful. Thanks for the comment. I hope it all goes well
Nice, i was wondering if this was even possible just the other day, thanks legend
I would buy new I put second hand ones in a while back and they fell to bits
Thank you for posting, I need to do mine as well.
It definitely makes a difference to how windows work. And stops water getting into your doors
It's like you knew what I had to do this week😂
I replaced them on my 80 series but I remover the door cards and mirrors and replaced the bailey channel rubbers at the same time.
That was a good idea. I have already don’t the rubbers. And I’m about to do all the door cards.
@blackllama1 can ypu replace the felt on the inside of the window on the door cards. My tint is rooted from the felt going hard/perishing? Cheers.
@@simonkearns6403 Yes the felt seals genuine toyota are available at good state auto parts.

@@nomad2495 no sorry you should be able to search them on Toyota website
I can buy from where ?
I picked my ones up on eBay. But you can also order direct from Toyota.
Or all 4x4 at kotara nsw Australia stocks them also
Hi hi where did you order these from? I have a 1995 Land Cruiser and need to replace
Found them on eBay Australia.
Genuine or after market parts? Good job to do as part of a respray
Genuine, you can see the Toyota lable on the plastic bag.
I used genuine I need to respray but don’t have the cash. It’s something i am hoping to do long term one day.
@@blackllama1 great to see these parts are available still
@@richardwilliams8667 yes most definitely some are a little pricey but you can still get most things new.
Mine didn’t click in 😅
Oh. Sometimes they can be a little fiddly
