Weird question,I had to withdraw a from 1 because the im not a robot tab was not showing up. Is this a bug in the website and will it make or break a form I submit if I don't click it.
Overall length, I add the full length as the ak pistol is? Im wanting to put a under folder stock on it, do I put the length as if I have the stock on ? Or of pistol as is?
So your under-folder is not required for the function of the firearm. So you can leave it our of your overall length. This is similar to the measurement of an AR with a collapsible stock on a buffer tube. You include the buffer tube because it is needed for function, but not the collapsible stock piece. Same idea here.
I understand this is an older video I don’t necessarily respect a response but, my Aero lower ONLY has Aero Precison on it. Not LLC or INC. which one would be better to put?
When measuring OAL, do you measure from muzzle to buffer tube when submitting the form 1 as it is illegal to assemble the stock before approval, then go back and measure to the end of stock as your true OAL once approved? Why has the ATF been telling us to measure to the end of the stock fully extended for OAL. I am confused as to which to use.
What if you are planning to build the firearm, is it possible to purchase a lower and wait for the form to be acceptable before I purchase the barrel and handrail? Or do I have to purchase a full size upper and lower, submit the form and later turn that rifle into an sbr
How would one measure barrel and OAL of an HK SP5K? Also, if one SBRd an AR, can they put different uppers on with different barrel lengths and calibers? For example, can one use an 10.5 inch 5.56 upper and then a 9 inch .22lr upper on the same SBRd lower? Thank you for the video.
depends what stock you have on your sp5k. if it can be extended or folded measure from the muzzle to the most extended/folded out position. and yeah you can swap out uppers.
I submitted n eForm 1 eleven months ago and it still says pending. According to the ATF site updated in 03/24 eform ones are taking 90 days. Why is mine stuck in a black hole. I have called there help desk and am being told everytime everything looks good it's just waiting on the agents desk. Any ideas? Thanks

My HK-SP5 with no attachment is 17.8in but have not purchased a stock yet. It will be approx. 28.8in after I put the stock I want on it, so which length should I put in the overall length field on form 1?
I filled out the forms to change a couple of braced pistols to SBR last year...do I need to resend picture and prints if I want to change another pistol to sbr...and how about with a suppressor purchase?
Yep, that is correct with AR platform rifles. Unless a muzzle device is pinned & welded on. But hopefully you aren't trying to take that off to measure the rifle haha. It varies with other rifle types, though because they do not all require an extension like the buffer tube or stock to fire.
Really good walk through but I'm still an idiot. I didn't realize the photo needed to be a passport style photo. I already submitted it with a picture of me from my laptop camera and I was wearing my glasses. So it's probably going to get rejected. It's been 38 days and still says submitted but I'm probably going to have to wait a little longer for some bad news.
Very informative video.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for this tutorial! Straight forward with no BS. Just filed a form 1 today.
Thank you. Liked and subscribed.
Thank you

So if I attach an EFT file then I dont have to bother anything with that cover letter thing they email me at the end?
Great video. Thanks. 🤙🏾

what form would i need to “manufacture” my own sbr from a 16in rifle?
Thank you sir,,this video helped 👍a lot
When do I engrave?
Most engrave immediately after receiving the approved stamp
What about the engraving on the lower?

Is there a PMF option for Make/model?

Yes the ones before 3/24 are being processed the old way. After 3/24 it’s using the updated style
How come Massachusetts and Michigan were blurred?
The blur stayed to block his address
What do you put for overall length if you’re building a SBR and dont have your upper yet? Just estimate the upper length and add?
Most uppers are a standard length. You can add that to your barrel length, as well as the lower & buffer tube to estimate within 1/2" or so.
What about if it’s an sig mcx? The overall length would exclude the stock?
That's correct. Because the stock on the MCX isn't needed for the firearm to function. While the buffer tube on an AR style rifle is needed.
@@BlackFlagArmory awesome thank you!
So do I do trust or Individual ? For a sbr ap5? Also i have a chieff of police where i live can i put that instead of sheriff?
Your call, we almost always prefer trusts for the flexibility. And yes on police chief as well.
Sbr question
Overall length is with or without stock for mke ap5? Thank you.
Without is 17.9
With 26.5

By pictures I mean both a picture of myself and of the gun in question
I thought the overall length was from end of buffer tube to barrel with muzzle device removed

@@BlackFlagArmory no mine is not pinned & welded
Does this form 1 allow the rifle to have a stock after rather the pistol brace ?
yes
@ Thank you ! I’m on it!
Is engraving SBR infomation on the receiver required?
Yes. Full name with middle name included or full trust name, city, state.
Do you have a link or recommendation for the electronic finger print card service?
I used nationalguntrusts. It was very easy to get the .EFT file needed for submission
What's with the 'responsible person' for an 'individual' application??? I've got NO NOK...
No RP for individual applications. Just Trusts. The individual is the only Responsible person on an individual application.
@@BlackFlagArmory thank you...

We can help!
Thanks, y'all!
5.56 is mm, it would be .223 if you were doing caliber.
No. The word caliber refers to bore diameter regardless. metric or imperial.
