    Failed to mention Zipline Canyon park in Ocala. It's probably the only place in florida where you zipline through actual Canyons, well its really limestone rock but they are 90 feet high, so it definitely gives a mountain vibe.
    Also ocala is hillier then Gainesville, so mountain biking is popular thing in ocala.

    I would choose olcla it seems more my family type and lifestyle and homie to us we will be visiting this summer my friend just moved there too I can't wait to visit

      We are checking out ocala in August. Have family in Tampa. Never been to Gainesville or ocala

    Gainesville you can enjoy live music ... unless you like bands you heard of before LOL - in that case you need to go to Jacksonville, Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa or Miami

      Alachua County (Gainesville) is higher with a 7.6414 millage rate while Marion County (Ocala) is 4.29.

      One of the best areas to be during a hurricane. Not sure about tornadoes, but block townhouses there that are older older and I mean older are still standing lol. So probably okay too
