I was about there and filming them switching during that snowstorm. I've got a video of them on my channel. I love watching this railroad and thos was a great video
It’s nice to see that there are still industries with people making things in the United States, remember a time when the US used to make everything. But now you don’t see hardly anything built here!
Thank you for the kind words on the video! I'll make another one or two, down the road. I have some other ideas in the works for this railroad. :D I have a number of other videos from PGR on my channel. Would you like the links?
@@SD457500 I've seen you had a few playlist on your page , an I have watched a good number of them , some really nice clips there on the PGR among others . The one " Progressive Rail's Dan patch line " video is definitely one of my favorites , a lot of great content .. Cheers ,take care an be safe railfaning look forward to seeing more down the line.. 😁🇨🇦
Its a cool operation, and they handle a wide variety of products. PGR's mgmt is great at providing rail solutions for its customers. Thank you for watching!
Something about the way they work John Deere makes me want to make an Ho scale layout on that area. Absolutely love your content, I’m glad to see Progressive Rail still use SW1500s. I’m hoping to catch that RR sometime, do you know how often they run?
Thank you so very much for your kind words! :D This area would be ideal for a layout; there is so much track in a small area. This job runs Monday - Friday, and they seem to go to work in the am, likely around 7am or so.
@@SD457500 thanks for the quick response. I will definitely have to check that railroad out. I love small railroads with older gen equipment like those switchers.
@@SD457500 More PGR please , with drone footage of Nesbit and the CPKC exchange with the PGR would be absolutely great lol , yeah I know I don't ask for much lol .. tried to find the Nesbit yard ( exchange area ) on Google maps , where is the exact location? I would love to see it in person , but live over 1100 miles from Bloomington. SOo love this shortline.. Thanks for all your videos on this shortline.. ❤ it , from🇨🇦

7 inches of frickn' snow... what a GREAT day to be an engineer instead of a trainman LOL
Provided you don’t have to run remote and not conventional. :)
There are HUGE perks to being in the seat vs on the ground in the winter time. :D
Love the little guys working hard.
Those classy switchers make some sweet noise as they go about their day. Thank you for watching!

This is a unplanned REAL TEST. It sounds as if the functions continued in a normal fashion.
The fine crews at Progressive Rail did an AMAZING job in the snow.
