- Destiny 1 or Destiny 2 crucible? My preference is Destiny 1 PvP and thankfully I was able to find a Crucible lobby in Destiny 1 in 2023 which is getter harder to come by. Enjoy!

I love so much about destiny 1. It’s a shame not a lot of people play anymore.
I'm a destiny veteran. Crucible was so much fun in destiny 1. Especially iron banner. Destiny 2 crucible was ok too.
these videos just have everything everyone wants to see like the gameplay the rewards the best moments
I managed to find one last week, and I had more fun in that one match than I ever had in destiny 2 crucible
I don't know about other platforms, but on ps4 atleast, but weekly featured modes tend to get a match started 24/7, even if queue times are pretty long and the lobbies are small. Also, clash and control get games from around 10 am to 9 pm PST and sometimes later at night or earlier in the morning.

I wouldn’t say that it’s difficult to find D1 PvP matches. It all depends on what the game mode is. If it’s something trash like doubles, then you’ll have better luck in the standard control playlist. Some people will play regardless. Zerobrim is a good example. He’s always playing PvP despite the game mode.
These lobbies still exist and it's amazing. I've played many hours with all those guys you went up against, they're all die-hard Destiny fans like myself. Keep up the videos, I love seeing the gameplay
You know what’s better about destiny 1’s PvP than destiny 2? 1 you could actually jump in the air and pretty consistently land your shots, 2 the immortal SMG doesn’t exist.
That’s not why it was better. It was better before airborne effectiveness as well. Destiny 1 was, at its core, always unbalanced, which meant that you could always have fun using some funny gun and even if it wasn’t meta you could still slay out if you had the skill to back it up, while weaker players could still have fun using some of the more powerful guns. Pair that with the guns not having absolutely cracked stats that make them easier to handle than a Tesla, airborne gunfights actually existing, and mobility being a little bit more limited plus body shot damage being drastically lower than headshot damage in most cases, and you get a much more casual and usually more fun experience.
Every destiny 1 pvp match I’ve played recently we always get crushed in the beginning but then in the last 10 seconds we always climb back up and knock em off with 10 points B)
This looks so much more fun than Destiny 2 pvp. Miss the good old days of D1 crucible. The very best of pvp gaming.

God this brings me back to my middle school years, back when I was a monster in PvP. Now at 23, my reaction time is much slower than back when I was a teenager (I believe I started playing D1 when I was 14).

D2 players say it’s nostalgia when you can literally put the game in and experience the love bungie had for this franchise before they got a concussion and lost that love .

You are on Xbox, which makes matchmaking a bit more difficult since Playstation is way more active, but it's still a pain to find a match on either platform
Idk what you mean, you can always find a D1 crucible lobby on the weekly playlist. Any other playlist is a different story but I've never, ever waited more than 5 min to find a weekly playlist lobby
That outro had me nostalgic. Not for that exact scene necessarily, but of a more artistic/emotional gaming culture.
I started a new account from scratch a week ago and it's been some of the most fun gaming I've had in years. I'm on PS5 but trying to find people for strikes and crucible is a nightmare, there are so many people in the tower and on the maps but no one wants to run strikes or play pvp lol

I played a crucible match in D1 some weeks ago and it was a hundred percent more enjoyable than D2 crucible matches

It's incredibly jarring seeing how atmospheric these maps looked in the original Destiny compared to the washed out versions we got in D2.

Hey, I have the Sleeper Stimulant mission on my Warlock and it's a pretty hard mission and I was just wondering if you had any tips.
Playstation has a lot more potential for finding matches. For example I just recently got back on D1 and found a decent sized friends list in crucible that i play raids and pvp with.
D1 didn’t feel like I was playing knockoff call of duty. The TTK in D2 is pretty ridiculous honestly. The weapon balancing is even worse. Coming from the studio who made one of the best multiplayer sandboxes of all time is quite depressing.
The problem with Destiny 1's PvP is that the netcode is region sharded. I can connect to my friends in Europe and SOME people on the east coast of the US. A couple of people from the west coast or one guy from Brazil wanted to get matched to a lobby with us Europeans, fuggedaboudit.
You should be an undertaker with the amount of postmortems you get.

I quit around after forsaken. Hated d2 story and most of the strikes.
So ive been doing a little experiment, i got a playstation version of d1 for like 5 bucks at a used store, started fully fresh on vanilla d1 and wow. Kinda crazy how it acts. Lvl cap for me is 34, i can only access the weekly playlist for pvp, with no legendary mark rewards, which kinda suuuuck. I kinda wanna stay away from getting the dlc right now to get some goated old guns that get replaced in the latest dlc. 9n playstation at least they only sell the rise of iron complete dlc package so im fearing getting that will change the vendor guns. Hawksaw, 100 yard, hung jury, im aiming to get those despite only being able to claim 15 marks a day from doing public events.
Try today pvp on D1, few players, same names as usual, but connection kick me out. Since last year connection has been really bad in D1. That machine gun from iron banner in D1 is just blast, satisfying to use.
I got the exotic class mark and thorn during a weekend of mayhem

D1 Crucible was just something else man, it got to that level in CoO and a bit of Warmind (before Vwing took over)
The loot after screen needs to come back, nothing better than seeing the worst player in the scoreboard snag an Exotic

Hey November RukiaMizt here. We have been trying to 6v6 going on friday and saturday afternoons. So far we have been able to get them going 3 weeks in a row. Usually classic 6v6 unless someone in the group needs to get some quests done in the other 6v6 matches.

Been playing a lot of D1 lately and I've been having more fun than in D2, even the few PvP matches I've played have been way more fun and casual, the only downside is that I don't have a team for a Nightfall nor a raid :/

I just played two matches and damn are they sweaty and do you die to a lot of bs, abilities and special weapons, also the only viable guns are handcannons and a scout on longer ranged maps sadly.. pretty poor experience I had not gonna lie
hopefully D1 gets ported across to PC, all the ingredients for a good game which D2 spoilt. Can't imagine playing 30fps on controller again though

I think it may have been the Stillpiercer. It was a hunter exclusive sniper rifle.

i only ever played the destiny 1 demo on ps3 yet i for some reason spent hourrrss on it, even if you could only do the edz missions in it, but you could make more characters on it , and overall, i enjoyed my time playing destiny 1 alot.
fast forward to like 2020 i decided to play d2 because it was free and the solstice event was happening, and i really liked playing that too, but i just couldnt get the feeling that all of my enjoyment with destiny 1 was just not there
everything felt downgraded and just more laid back in terms of gameplay and art direction, and now i came back to destiny 2 and i am having a bit more fun with the recent changes but i just cant get d1 out of my head, even to the point where im willing to buy d1 for the first time just to experience it all👹

I reinstalled D1 recently but it’s been really choppy, I get like 20-24 frames for some reason, is anyone else having this issue or know of a fix?

I truly dont get it, how can people defend D2 .... The new players, the Fortnite generation, don't know what s good but the vet of D1 I don't get it. Being able to mantle and other few gameplay improvements don't compensate for the bs story and overall management of the game by Bungo
