    Great analysis! Thanks.
I was reading the letter 2Peter and it's very similar to the book of Hebrews. And we all know that Peter didn't write his letters himself.
Peter probably had a Greek scribe assisting him.
However wrote the Hebrews was either commanded by Peter or inspired by Peter's teachings.
Peter was the main apostle in charge of the Hebrew church. It makes plenty of sense for him to write to the Jews.

The book of Hebrews was written by the Apostle Paul and it was addressed to the Hebrew people---which can be identified as the 12 tribes of the House of Israel in there last days. And these are instructed to leave from out of Christianity and go on to a maturity as those called out of the church and into the everlasting kingdom of God.

Telling people about JESUS ,is doing GOD a favor even if they get saved,or not. GOD will begin to cause you to hunger and thirst for the word. Wen you tell someone about JESUS, the fear you encounter, is not your fear, but, it’s satins fear of you. That’s wen it’s time to pray in the spirit destroying satins power, or really, it’s putting on the whole armor of god. I would even go a little further, and every day, pray 1/2 hour in the morning and a. 1/2 hour ant night. Doing this will change your whole life. This is a supernatural hook up with GOD, that will begin to recreate your spirit. You’ll begin to see everything start ti change, not rite away, but if you keep it up, you’ll change. The word says that we become new creations, the old inner self fades away, and everything becomes new. Now this is the beginning of the grate new adventure.the more we pray, the more we receive revelation that will, come understanding ,what GOD really is up to. So we can Start to help the lord in answering the prayers that comes to him. This is the joy of the LORD absolutely awesome

author likely Apollos; greek in Hebrews is Alexandrian; very unlike Paul's writing; Apollos is listed with Paul and Peter in Corinth, so likely thought of as an apostle. he is said to be so brilliant in the scriptures to refute the Jews; he calls Timothy his brother, whereas Paul always called Timothy his son.

I've published an argument for a named, non-Pauline author. If you're here, you'll likely be interested in the video ruclips.net/video/5Ovy6CdswEI/видео.html. I believe a common problem on this topic is the false presumption that the evidence for any author other than Paul is likely to be too thin for a strong argument. I'm a classicist, fwiw, and a Xian and would value any helpful criticisms and feedback on the argument.

With all respect, according to [Acts2;38] the prayer at the end could not be fully classified as been ''born again'' but rather death to self and ones old ways.Repentance plus baptism in Jesus name is for ''the remission of sins'',according to the text, and then to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Even [Acts19v2-6],Paul commands the Ephesians believers to be baptised in Jesus name [for the remission of sins]as they had only been baptised under Johns baptism.

Danny it just so happens, that I respect Jonathan Cahn immensely on prophetical issues, and I have a few of his books. We have both of us been filled with the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in another tongue {or language}....Can I ask Danny, have you received this Holy Spirit gift the same as Jonathan Cahn and myself have received?? However you make a category mistake of judging a persons credentials on their status as whether they have got a theological degree, and not on what Gods word says about salvation, and what the bible says about when a person has been fully ''born again'', and it is not only a matter of been fully born again after that they are repentant!!
Did you even bother to look up the scriptures before you sent this post to me Danny, to see whether your point of view was even a legitimate one? e.g {Acts 2v37;38} , where they that were gathered for the jewish feast of Shauvout {i.e. pentecost} enquired of Peter ''what will we do to be saved''. Peter said unto them [1] Repent and [2] be Baptised, every one of you in Jesus name for the remission of sins, and [3] you shall receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost.
{Acts 19v2-6} was just an example of how the Ephesian believers had not yet fulfilled the Acts2v38 requirement of the full standard of bible salvation. i.e Repentance ; Baptism of water and baptism and infilling of the Holy Ghost.
So it takes more than repentance to be saved {which is what my point originally was all about}.... It is true that {luke13v3} says that unless you repent, you shall all likewise perish.....but scripture is clear that is not all that is required. for {Mark16v16} He that believeth '''and is baptised''' shall be saved....and these signs shall follow them that believe...'''they shall speak with new tongues'''
Even Jesus when he gave instructions to Nicodemus that you must be born of water and the Spirit {born again} or you cannot enter or even see the kingdom of God, and these will be the ultimate signs of a believer.
      regards

I thought your first post, was very condescending and judgemental,, so who is judging who, saying something about the pastor's prayer. We are both believers,, that's what counts,, like I said you're preaching to the choir,, the pastor knows all these things. Peace brother

@@waynethomas2892 sir this was beautiful message, take it, it was from God, plz, dont complain over a prayer at end. Thats what God is trying to teach us. Shalom

    • @waynethomas1900
      @waynethomas1900 5 лет назад +2

@@Teresahorner Teresa, it is not an attack on the prayer at the end. However it is quite unscriptural to conclude that by praying a prayer of repentance you are fully '''born again'' as Jonathan Cahn seems to elude to. To be born of water and of the spirit {born again} the scripture tells us is fundamental.. or you cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven {John ch.3}, ''repentance'', is necessary to that which must follow i.e. the baptism of water and the baptism or infilling of the Holy Ghost. The book of Acts is explicit in describing these necessary steps...{1} Repentance...{2} Water baptism '''for the remission of sins''' {Acts2vs38}...{3} Infilling of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues...{4} Perserverance no looking back.
      Kind regards
