I personally like how KEXP exposes us, the audience, to new artists and their ways of expressing themselves. Such as VÖK. Thanks to KEXP, I am about to add VÖK in my Pandora amd listen to them in the mornings from now on.^_^

Fantastic sound. I kept asking people at the festival about a song I heard and no one knew, it turned out to be 'Before' by these guys, amazing track. :)
Both the music and the performance are beautiful.
They sound like Vok, nobody else. Give the artists there credit, not comparisons to other artist!
nah, they definitely sound like The Knife. They still get to be Vok, and sound like Vok, but it's okay to say that Vok sounds like The Knife. some artists sound like other artists. doesn't deny their identity, just gives you some perspective on the ever-overlapping venn diagrams that make up existence, especially artistic existence. they still get credit as who they are, but it's also okay to derive likewise-sounding influences. The Rolling Stones sound like the rolling stones, but they also derived a lot of their sound (and namesake) from Muddy Waters and other less popular delta blues musicians.

I didn't knew Vök before. Dammit, I don't understand some of your songs since I don't speak Icelandic, but hey, listen: they are SO GOOD. "Before" rocks my socks, and the rest is very climatic too. Vocal is clear and strong yet intriguing. Love it.

wish they had a live drummer. you just can't get dynamic percussive swelling dynamics with a drum machine. it's flat.

Razordlive44 Boss Digital Delay DD3/DD5 or DD7. In DD3 you can't tap the time but in the other two you can.
