When I played Halo back in the day, I was getting headshots left and right. I can’t wait to do it again with the Ranger class in this game and my Xbox Series X controller

Great video. I agree with your points for the most part though I might disagree with analog as a pro. When I play games that require precision in my movement, I go for digital inputs like the dpad and a keyboard. If I want to go exactly forward or exactly right, I can't really trust that my thumb will do that accurately.
The memes threw me off. They feel kind of forced especially in a more informational video such as this. Some memes don't even make too much sense to be there too. And it kind of distracted me from your talking points which made me rewind and rewatch. Probably a me issue if so, but I genuinely feel that it is forced

Keyboard and Mouse. It's an FPS-I've been playing this way for years, though I have played Halo on Controller. I just get the impression that it is more useful with a Keyboard and Mouse.

I agree and people who I play with that use controller have the same sentiment and how movement is just naturally more difficult for them on controller

Someone really needs to come up with a reasonably priced single hand thumbstick controller that you could use like a old Nintendo nunchuck for your gamepad movement, quick trigger button inputs - all the movement and other benefits of a controller but still allowing the other hand full on mouse head/aim. Like saw an Xbox controller in half and add few more paddle/trigger buttons.

I totally agree, pricing in general for peripherals could be better. I've seen something similar to what you've mentioned called Tartarus by Razer however it still requires additional inputs from the left hand and then you got the Azeeron Cyborg whick looks like it can take months to really learn lmao. I would totally be down for a half controller hybrid kind of device though.

Aim assist would definitely be more restricted if this game had pvp

That is certainly true, I like the freedom we have in Roboquest.

I think this specific game is the hardest I’ve played with controller on higher difficulties. You have to be able to float with the jetpack and shoot which is so difficult to do with jp on the jump button. I’m thinking about moving jetpack to R3 to help. Anyone good at higher difficulties on controller using a special configuration?

I dont have a controller, but as far as i know from other games controller is just mot as fast to use. Good example of this is fortnite, if u look at top controller players they dont do things as fast as keyboard users, but they often have better tracking aim and better movement. Also aim assist is for the weak no matter the game or input device idk how u call it. I say that as someone who plays a funny fps shooter on MOBILE, while having to fompete against a lot of pc players that use bluestacks. So basically ur bad idk i never read the film.

Yeah it's just really hard to be fast with controllers compared to KBM but honestly the aim assist topic will be contraversial til the end of time
