@@JETScaleModels Hi James, I spent about a week moving all my hobby stuff to the basement. Last Saturday my wife got really sick and ended up in the hospital. She is home now and doing better. Now I am sick. Probably a bug I picked up at the hospital. I'm coughing constantly and my voice is gone. I feel a little better today than I did yesterday. Hopefully I can get back to making videos soon. Have a great day. Jeff
I love the format of your videos. I watch them in 15 minute increment's. Thanks for taking on this journey. I have this kit and will be watching the series again when I build mine. What figures did you purchase? I’m more of a figure painter.
Thanks for the feedback-interesting to get insight to how perhaps a chunk of viewers approach watching my vids. I have the tankers from miniart for this - I’ll add a video at some point along the way
The M3 is looking very nice, you have done a truly great job on the build so far, it's funny how even with using a AB, we must still trly on a bit of brush painting, looking forward to the next update soon, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Thanks so much, Les! I really appreciate your kind words. It's true, sometimes you just can't beat a bit of brush painting for those finer details. Glad to hear you're enjoying the build process. Stay tuned for the next update - lots more to come! Best regards to you down under!
Nice spray booth! You could use your compressor to get the grill going quickly :-) I love your vids! They are informative, comprehensive, and very funny! To cap it all, your results are great, too 😊
Another great video! Coming down to the wire too. I never could get masks to work right either. Just did them by hand like you do. If it works, don't mess with it. What kind of airbrush do you have? I've got one that's probably 50 years old. I bought it at a Sherwin Williams paint store when i was in high school. The brand name is Binks. Like most of the professional automotive painters use except way smaller. Getting back into models again and now need a different prescription for my glasses. If it ain't one thing, it's half a dozen others. Still taking notes too. You're doing a jam up job on the videos. I enjoy them very much. I appreciate all the trouble you must go through to make em. Thank you.
I’ve got several different ones from my water to pass VL to another one and another one. I’ll mention it maybe in the next video if I remember, it’s not that I’m having a difficulty with stencils. I don’t mind stencils. I actually have a cameo silhouette to cut my own, but if you’re referring to masks like that, I think the lettering is just too small for it to get cut properly so that’s why I went with the decals. Thanks for the support and taking the time to comment
Despite being an hour long that was pretty entertaining . I build a lot Dragon kits and as you say tolerances are tight and sometimes a bit of light sanding is needed. Also the 'shackle' incident has happened to me as well, just like that. Dragon parts are thinner than most other makes and even cutting from the sprue can weaken a fine part. You dont even notice and then all of a sudden its in 2 pieces. 🫣 Good luck going forward 👍
Hi James, nice work on your tank. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff
Hi JD haven’t seen you lately hope all is well

The early M-3's did not have a basket for the turret and was not held onto the body.
Okay ...not sure why you mention this?🤔
I never said they did?
@@JETScaleModels I was just commenting on the turret and why it didn't seem to have a way to lock onto the main boddy
