    I said it from the beginnings , all Dubois did was capitalize on Joshua amateur mistakes 🤦🏼‍♂️ if you look at Joshua hitting the pads with Ben , he always have his left hand down , obviously easy to spot now , but Dubois team obviously noticed he wasnt even setting his punches , just looking for a home run , while telegraphing his punches.

    As good as Daniel was he hit joshua with a low blow pretty stupidly and I really do feel that joshua (like usyk) should of taken a few minutes to recover. May just have played on dubois mind but then again maybe not but either way could of just given joshua some time and thrown dubois out of rythem. May not of worked but shows the thinking game of usyk compared to AJ

    Going into this fight, AJ's mentality was shattered. Which led to the poor start and eventual fight changing knockdown.
    In all honesty, getting knocked out probably helped AJ in the long run. Knowing that he's been counted out, maybe he'll finally get past that fear of being stopped. Especially since he fought until the end, showing he does have heart.
    After all, Dubois quit against Usyk and that was the catalyst for his run of success.

    Hands down style works for some boxers, most famous Ali, Roy Jones,.. They get away with it because of superb reflexes and timing. It does seem to catxh up with them when they get older. With Joshua, I think it's age, but also the size, power and speed of dubois. Hands down style works better against shorter opponents

    There was no PTSD!!!! Don't even repeat what Simon Jordan was saying. If he had PTSD, he would have stayed down from the first knockdown or look for a way to quit asap!!! You highlighted the basic mistakes he made very well which was keeping his left hand low and begging to be hit with Dubois' right hand and that suicidal uppercut, thrown from way out with his chin exposed.

  • @agnikaineverdies7646
    @agnikaineverdies7646 Месяц назад +3

    What went wrong is that Aj can’t fight on the back foot, he didn’t have this problem because his opponents were either too small without the foot speed to close the gap or were too scared to engage or in the case of Joseph Parker, the ref would thwart his attempts to fight Aj on the inside
    Dubois was the first opponent ready to put Aj on the back foot that was big enough and he made light work of Aj, that fight was as one sided as a gang rape
    Now that Aj’s been exposed for being as shite on the back foot as Wilder, most top 10 heavyweights beat him easily
    Aj fans were quick to mock Hrgovic for losing and it turned out that Hrgovic was way more a match for Dubois than Aj

    Nice analysis. Keep up. You said we saw no faints from AJ in the fight, I think one major topic for the 1st round outcome (AJ appears with no strategy, hands low, etc) was not only feeling the power of Dubois but perhaps realizing Dubois will not respect him whatsoever, no reaction from litlle tweaks from AJ, no giving space, no setting the pace… AJ must have heard finally… Lezzgo!!! And somehow they didn’t prepared AJ for being the less powerful guy in the ring (or he might be unable to fight as such)

  • @cmo559
    @cmo559 Месяц назад +1

    Perhaps AJ was intimidated by Dubois because he dropped Usyk, a man who caused him to have an all-out-emotional meltdown after his second loss. I think he was fearful of Dubois and thats why he tried to punk him during the Faceoff interview. When he felt how DDD was coming at him on fight night he had an oh-shit-moment, froze and forget his basic training. My speculative armchair psychology.

      You’re right Aj does hit harder than Hrgovic, but Hrgovic’s chin exceeds AJ’s to a greater degree than the difference in their power.
      In spite of Aj punching harder than Hrgovic, Aj would get hurt more easily from Hrgovic’s punches than Hrgovic would from AJ’s punches, Hrgovic was only dropped once in his career and that was from a rabbit punch so it shouldn’t even count
      Hrgovic was landing his punches on Dubois much easier than Aj was, Hrgovic is better offensively so if he fought Aj he’d just hit Aj a shit load of times and Aj’s chin would not hold up given how badly he was hurt by Ruiz, by the time Aj could have landed enough punches to hurt Filip, Aj would have already been TKO’d

    @15.27 The towel is already in and Davidson had the towel in his hands since round 3 ! Don’t think DD was hurt as was more resetting his feet and was slightly off balance because he certainly timed AJ to perfection coming in and if you listen to Don Charles he explains how they KNEW AJ would make this kind of move and trained accordingly . But as much as I appreciate everything AJ has done for boxing the whole drama afterwards is certainly not giving DD the credit for wiping the floor with AJ , And as for this rematch clause that does NOT exist WHY should AJ who just got his arse handed to him just automatically get straight back in ?He should have to do whatever any other fighter would have to do and EARN his spot again !!That is what is so wrong in this sport is the monopoly 4/5 fighters getting ALL the cash between them while rankings and position mean nothing and guys wait years getting pitiful pay packets because of the greed of these so called top men . This nonsense has to end and give the ones frozen out by the greed of these men and their promotors a chance to earn.

  • @Abyssian007
    @Abyssian007 Месяц назад

    I believe that this was simply a case where AJ wanted to Big Brother Dubois and manhandle him to show that he was the bigger, stronger and tougher man. He simply gave up on the boxing aspect of his game and despite the fact that AJ's chin and heart are a miles better than I previously thought, it was just not enough when you have a dangerous sport with such thin margin.
    He tried to look like a heavy weight RJJ whose physical gifts were so supreme that it hid a terrible chin and "odd" technique for years, sadly all he imitated was the end of RJJ's career. Had he tried to boxe like he did post Ruiz this fight would have been competitive, AJ has that rare combination of fast heavy hands that can solve a lot of dicey situation. Now for the rematch it depends on whether he accepts that he is not superman, needs his excellent boxing fundamentals and hope that his chin is still there after being cracked like that.
    Congratulations to Dubois, he either made or face the weakest AJ there's ever been and sent him to the shadow realm.

Helenius is a big puncher and a great jab that made ajs nose flow. Dubois will be aggressive and it ended up that way. Aj was always going to be timid because how explosive and powerful and fearless Dubois is. That's why he was so nervous in their sit down where they "almost fought" (they weren't close)...aj was squeezing his fingers and grabbing his face. Showing how nervous he is. He puts on an act to show he is so cool calm and collective. He's not tyson fury...he's a big man who has a lot of fears and he shows it.
    All you youtubers and boxers like Usyk missed these tells (no disrespect to a active legend). My prediction was spot on.

      Timid? Did you see the first wild right hand Joshua threw that DDD ducked under before the first KD? Timid is defense.

    Props to DuBois.... remember, though, that Joshua was terrible. He regressed and thus made Dubious look great . This match speaks more about AJ than DDD. Go and watch how Usyk handled DDD. We can speculate on the low blow being legit or not, but we can't speculate on how DDD took a knee and quit. That's the bigger story. Where was his stamina then? Usyk beats Fury who is too fat and washed up to get into proper shape and clearly, DDD deserves a rematch for all the belts.
    Losers AJ and Fury can go on consolation prom date

      Fury is scheduled to fight Undisputed champion Usyk for 3 belts and 50 million. Anthony Joshua ducked Wilder and Fury his entire career. He is damaged goods and retiring in 2026😂

      Joshua was a hypejob and protected fighter. He won his Olympic medal by robbery, ducked Wilder and Fury, got chinned by far Andy and DDD

      It's Anthony Joshua glass chin and weak mentality. He said during an interview in May 2023, "I want my legacy to be, I walked out healthy. Imagine me at the age of 50 or 60 in a wheelchair, fragile because of the trauma I put my body through" 😂

    I say it, AJ is not a real fighter, its not natural to him. Its a fair-weather champion, no fundamentals and real character/ backbone. He cheated for a bigger body, and faked his power with it, no technique, no brain and no talent/ intuition for the fight. The character is not champion, theyre weak inside, cheaters and showboayters never become real champs.

      Anthony Joshua has damaged boxing by ducking Wilder and Fury his entire career, he ducked Usyk for 2 years and petitioned IBF to move forward Pulev mandatory. He fought old men, conned the public with his fake humble persona and used PR bots and trolls on social media to defend his duck moves. Joshua lied through Eddie's mouth and was fighting 1 mandatory every 3 years for each belt during his time as champion
