I can see both sides of the argument. Maybe he could have dug deeper when it got tough for him and not quit. But also, if he did fight on, he may have gone blind in one eye or ended his career. Reminds me of George Groves vs Chris Eubank Jr. At the start of the 12th round, George dislocated his shoulder and his left arm was useless for the entire round. He didn't quit - instead, he dug deep and fought back with one arm. It's a really tough call.

I know Dubois has since rebounded with a win, but he really needs to learn because he was schooled by an opponent using the most basic tactics of all. After seeing Joice true potential as a heavyweight after the Parker KO I really appreciate how good DD is. He showed a lot in a fight against a guy that we now know as an elite fighter and he is only 23 at the time of this fight. For sure he is a huge prospect who I am sure will not lose his confidence from this one loss. Especially after seeing how Joyce has surpassed many expectations of late.

number 1 thing I always notice about joyce in all his fights is how relaxed his shoulders are.. there is no tension there...like lennox lewis, tyson fury etc.... it makes me think of all the heavyweight boxers who make it big really...compare his shoulders to dubois, david price, mike tysons opponents (for the most part) .. Not saying he could achieve anything near what lewis or fury have achieved, but he was underrated by dubois team.. and fury & lennox were often underrated.

69-6 as an amateur but most of them was still as a junior.
