its good to see someone making there own bread buns ect as these days they use that "sugar flour " and end up like fairy floss and just disintegrates as it gets wet . In Aussie anyway . makes a hell of a lot of difference
I do love the cheesesteak but I am no expert. I've enjoyed them but sometimes the bread it sits on has become too soggy. This was perfect. Okay I doubt it'll ever be as good as the original in Philly but I'm presuming it's pretty close.
A NUFC replica jersey is around £85 currently. But the (buyable) one the players wear pitch-side is circa £125. This is without any addition printing on the back. Absolute insanity!

I know you have to take what you can get but I’m sure I would be disappointed with the cheese steak sandwich knowing what a real Philadelphia version looks and tastes like. I’ll stick with their smash burger which looks like a great value. Good to see some of the same gals still working Lupa. A credit to you Nick and how you run the place.

I think it is just back to normal whereas the last 3 years everything has been out of season. I was here in 2018 but I didn't have a bar so I can't say but it's busier than last year. Only the last few days has it started to bite but I suspect it'll be quite busy this weekend.
I prefer them mate I can't be doing with a dry 2 inch thick burger. Smash it into 3 so you get 6 crusty edges, layer cheese and caramelised onions between, so much more tastier.

Flights can get cheap after mid~ish August though Nick! I booked a flight last week for 580 euros (2 way, but with a stop in Abu Dhabi).
Traditionally August is a bad month due to higher flight prices I always used to avoid coming in August. Maybe it's changing recently.
