A tour of Lakewood during the pandemic

Boruch Perlowitz, a Haredi filmmaker, shows that Lakewood appears to be as locked down as any other town. The Lakewood Yeshiva, the largest outside of Israel, is chained shut. Synagogue after synagogue has “closed” signs on the doors. The streets are virtually empty of pedestrians and almost every place of business is shuttered.
