    When I was back in Pakistan my agent did the same.He said that I was getting into a European University and I had specifically told him that I wanna select a university which will further help me avoid the licensing exam of UK,he ensured me that and later I was myself looking through GDC website and I found the same list you were talking about.I talked to my agent about it and he was like don't worry about that ,within next 2_3 years Georgia will be granted permanent membership of EU and now that I have been here for 6 months I understand how difficult that is especially because of the land dispute that Georgia has with Russia and the Pro- Russian Government.

      They will be accepted into EU but that doesn't mean anything for dentistry. The dentistry list is old and it won't change it doesn't include Georgia sorry :(

      Oh I thought the countries that are part of EU or EEA are exempted from ORE

      @@taimoorsultan4035 If they are part of the list I left in the description box (annex V) then you are fine. But places like georgia are not on the list so it's not as easy as just being part of the EU/EEA

    You said that degrees from Georgia ,Serbia etc are not accepted by UK.I didn't understand that .
    Do you mean that they are not eligible for practicing in the UK?they are not eligible for giving ORE and registering with GDC.
    I myself am a dentistry student in Georgia.I did watch your video with abz_dentistry it was quite helpful.

      All are allowed to do the ore. But I meant in terms of the exception to not sitting ORE. So with this you'll have to still sit the exam :)

    I also have a few questions regarding GDC and it would be great if you can help me with that.
    First of all as UK requires 1600 clinical hours that will be provided by our university but is it possible that once I get graduated and give my ORE exams then I can practice in UK as a general dentist or do I need experience as a dentist before I can actually work in UK.

      You'll work straight away after ore and registering with GDC . One year is usually foundation training but this is paid salary so don't worry

      So I don't need to get the licensing exam of Pakistan?That is not a requirement for GDC?

    • @the_stu_DENT
      @the_stu_DENT  3 месяца назад

      @@taimoorsultan4035 You need to fulfil the requirement of being a graduate Dental student in your country of study. So if the licensing part is NOT part of the degree then you are fine. However, the character reference is required by the country you practice in or the university you studied from. So you need to be able to get this from either the country you finish in (your uni) or the country you start working in

    Do not use an agent! Apply for yourself. Agents scam people

    • @the_stu_DENT
      @the_stu_DENT  2 месяца назад

      If you can apply yourself, then definitely. If not ask an agent that doesn't charge money. I know an agent that is free and only takes money as commission from the university after she places you in the university. People like this are good, always read the contract and try to do things yourself.

      G'day, I'm looking for a Graduate Entry with non eu diploma in Dentistry.
      The only info I found are Universities from Georgia.
      I read you don't recommend it, so please help me out!
      Not planning to go to the UK so I shouldn't be stressed about GDC, I suppose.
      Thanks for your content and channel.
