Hello there Artie! Thanks! 2 jerry cans with 18 to 20 liters of fuel in them can be pretty heavy plus I wanted big wheels on the dolly to navigate the rough and rocky terrain around the camp. Now if only I could get the handle set up as well as this part! LOL Stay tuned!! Take 'er easy!!

How's she goin'? I made some careful measurements for the axle holes Noel and look what happened. Then I tried to make accurate locations for the holes for the skis and that went south too!! So no more measuring for me!! Ha Ha Ha! I never thought of a handle on the front. The idea I have for a handle is an old push mower handle, but put it on the wheel end!! I'm cooking up plan for that right now! LOL Take 'er easy and big celebrations this weekend. Gold Cup and Saucer!! Lots of partys eh!! Take 'er easy!!
It's looking good Mike. Won't be long before you'll be rolling fuel to your machines. I was thinking of the weight of the fuel cans, if some side force is applied before raising the dolly will the skis twist. I guess that is something to test out to whether a crossbar for the skis is needed or not. Have a good one!
How's she goin'? You know Paul I was concerned about that, especially when I was going to use some 4 x 4 for the skis, but now that the flat bar is on there is seems pretty sturdy on the side to side movement. It's something I need to be aware of though. Thanks for mentioning it and take 'er easy!!

I was thinking a handle on the ski end of the Cart and pick up and pull. Your thoughts on that.

How's she goin'? I made some careful measurements for the axle holes Noel and look what happened. Then I tried to make accurate locations for the holes for the skis and that went south too!! So no more measuring for me!! Ha Ha Ha! I never thought of a handle on the front. The idea I have for a handle is an old push mower handle, but put it on the wheel end!! I'm cooking up plan for that right now! LOL Take 'er easy and big celebrations this weekend. Gold Cup and Saucer!! Lots of partys eh!! Take 'er easy!!
It's looking good Mike. Won't be long before you'll be rolling fuel to your machines. I was thinking of the weight of the fuel cans, if some side force is applied before raising the dolly will the skis twist. I guess that is something to test out to whether a crossbar for the skis is needed or not. Have a good one!
How's she goin'? You know Paul I was concerned about that, especially when I was going to use some 4 x 4 for the skis, but now that the flat bar is on there is seems pretty sturdy on the side to side movement. It's something I need to be aware of though. Thanks for mentioning it and take 'er easy!!

Hello Mike. I had a thought, so I watched your video again. Since the dolly is the perfect width for the wheels from a lawn mower, I wonder if it might also be the perfect width for the handle from the lawn mower. Take care, Ben

Yes, you should beef up the sides of the cart ,maybe some flat iron on both sides where you mount it .
