He's also had some successes, including the first Iron Man. Yes, his career is a roller coaster, but not hopelessly so.
Also, Nintendo is going to keep him on a VERY short leash with Zelda, so I doubt there will be room for shenanigans.
Fantastic 4 2005 was good.
He needs that ceo treatment.
You've been copying and pasting this comment on almost all of the Kraven movie reviews
As a true kraven fanatic you mistake the last scene, kraven lets a random bear eat his father, his father before this uses the lion to make kravens iconic lion vest
Aaron Taylor Johnson is the most “your presence tells me nothing about whether this movie will be good” actor of all time
What went wrong?
"Everything."
Video ends. ;D

In a world where the first Joker movie and The Penguin TV show exists, Sony forcing their villains to be heroes is baffling.
The thing about all of these Sony films is that they remind me of the days when superhero movies felt embarrassed by the source material. Most of those films flopped too.
They should have hired the writers of The Penguin. They play on this expectation of the audience believing the villain has a redeeming nature at the core him, but then flips it and shows how much of a villain the Penguin truly is. And it's all very believable, without taking away from the character.
What Sony doesn't understand is no one has ever heard of these comic book characters so making a movie about a vampire doctor, a research spider lady, a dead beat journalist alien, and a super solider hunter; you are destined to fail from the start 🤷
Especially when the writers of the movies have never heard of them, either.
Not gonna lie, Marcus Brody as a badass gunslinger blowing away villains for Indy honestly sounds kind of awesome 😆
Spider-Man: You're able to put Spider-Man in your movies, and you're turning Spidey villains into anti-heroes? But with freedom like that, you could be making good movies!
SONY: But I don't WANT to make good movies! I want to make trash!
I love it when he said,
"ITS KRAVEN TIME"
0:53 is that white will smith???
What are we,
some kind sinister 6
😂 spot on
Sony seems trapped in some weird time-space anomaly since it's clearly still the early 2010s in their offices.
No, however White Will Smith did portray the Kanamits in that old Twilight Zone episode, "To Serve Man."
I really enjoy the moments when he shares stories with his dad about his favorite ice cream flavors. It resonates with me since I’m a huge fan of ice cream as well. In particular, I adore the rich and creamy taste of butter pecan; it has a delightful combination of sweet buttery flavor mixed with crunchy, roasted pecans that makes it my absolute favorite.
Now, what if Calypso had been a Wakandan War Dog in. Neighboring country who fell in love with a young Kraven?
Kraven is nearly killed doing whatever, and left in a near-death coma. Calypso returns to a pre-Movie Wakanda and *steals* a heart-shaped herb and uses if to revive Kraven. This provides him with his powers and a trip to visit his ancestors, a long line of great hunters and imperialist conquerors who admonish him for being unworthy of their legacy and drive him to seek out and hunt the most dangerous creatures, human and animal, in the world.
Boom. Kraven is born.
Congrats on 700K subs! I feel like you should have a million with the quality of your work here. :)
I’ll wait for Sonic 3 I guess.
"Held togerher by poorly done adr, three sticks of bubblegum and a prayer"
This is exactly what happens when movies like this are done by a committee of producers who have no idea what they want. So they just go the most generic route, even post-producing stuff in they think "oh yeah, we forgot to add this thing here too..."
The moment where Kraven Met Morbius, looked him in the eyes and said "I am Hunting, FOR LOVE" and then they kissed was the most beautifull thing i saw in my life
just feel like expressing my thanks for being one of my absolute favorite channels for years now. i always look forward to hearing your thoughts on stuff like this, and i especially enjoy when you upload videos just talking about something you like, regardless of when it came out. your commentary is always so laid back and insightful, and it feels like such a breath of fresh air amongst all the clickbaity, hyperbolic, "scream at bad thing" type stuff i get recommended constantly. i know you don't always relish making more negative videos like this, but rest assured you stand waaay above the endless sea of ragebait nonsense and have never once come off as unreasonably angry or fishing for engagement. sorry to gush, but i figured i'd return the favor for the heartfelt thanks at the beginning! hope you have a good holiday, captain! 👍
When they released the first 8 minutes on youtube, before the movie even came out, I knew that that first 8 minutes was going to be the best part (and only good part) of the movie - by far.
That’s so Kraven
It would have been poetic if the animal that killed his father actually was that lion but it wasn't. It was just a random bear.
It’s Morbin’ time.
"How did this guy get his powers?"
*Shrug* "A drop of lions blood"
More people will watch this video than go to the movie theater to see Kraven.
These Sony movies feel like everything was made by the B team, but cost $110MM.
3:11 this character sounds like she could be from the Arrowverse actually...
"held together by poorly done adr, 3 sticks of bubble gum and a prayer" 🤣🤣
I so hope this convinces Sony to just STOP with their universe.
I like how ScreenCrush labeled it: The Something Having To Do With Spider-Man I Think Cinematic Universe. It's what Michael Douglas Keaton said at the end of ... I think Morbius? I forget which.
7:52 wait I thought it was a bear 🐻 that ate Russel Crowe at the end???? 😅😅
It was a bear.
The fact they thought it was a good idea is when it all went wrong.
Well well well, who could have foreseen this outcome?
I just don’t understand how all these years later Sony has not learned one single lesson.
How are there still people watching these movies after Morbius AND Madame Webb. Like bruh. Don't even give them money for reviews. If they don't give a damn about the movies they release we shouldn't give a damn either.
I think whats really impressive is that they really landed a proper good movie
Like yes, these movies are flawed from their initial concept of a spiderverse with out spiderman
But they dont havta be bad, the second suicide movie was good
Joker 1 was pretty good
Its doable
And yet, somehow after all these tries the best they could do was Venom….
Pretty sure it’s Additional Dialogue Recording not Automated Dialogue Replacement. Most films do it when conditions don’t allow for optimum sound recording on set.
If you look it up, you’ll see both are listed constantly. Which I agree is weird
You: I want marvel movies!
Mom: we have marvel movies at home
You get home, find none and then your mom goes and rents something unrelated from
Hollywood video…
“I’m kick ass”
i really liked the scene where Kraven went to a nighclub and said "I Krave To Rave"
I like that the origin story kinda matches the plots from Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts games; overbearing dad they don’t really like but end up becoming like, dead mom, having a distant relationship with his brother, going on a safari trip that fucks him up.
We have MCU at home.
8:45 - Is that the same office where Deadpool has his meeting with Happy in Deadpool & Wolverine?!
No, that was a ground floor office
@ I don’t think it was a real office, they probably just dressed the set differently
@ I just booted up D+, it was a first floor office in the Avengers Compound, judging by the foliage outside.
@@kalexander9225 They can make the outside look however they want if it's a set dressed up to look like an office
At this point the superhero genre is being kept alive entirely by RUclipsrs.

Congratulations Captain Midnight!! May you continue another 17+++ years!
Rip el muerto with bad bunny 😢
Now we wait for the inevitable "let's rewrite the Sony Spider-Man Without Spider-Man Universe" videos.
Was waiting for this video Sony managed to make not one not two but 3 awful superhero movies this year
