Carrying on the age-old rock 'n' roll tradition of goofy TV camera work: cut to the bass when the guitar solo starts!

I love this for a thousand reasons: Jeff's short hair, Mike on cowbell, Glenn smiling as he hits the bells, and so forth.

It's a bizarre lineup for sure. Jay Bennett and Ken Coomer had been fired not long before. Leroy was next to go. Probably one of his last performances, and they're making the poor guy hold down 4 instruments at once. And then there's Jorgensen literally waiting in the wings. Not sure I would have been too happy with this show.

jdschmelzer I'm curious. What do you mean the line up is bizarre? And why do you think you would not be happy with this show?

jmzr65 Well the band is in transition. Tweedy already fired Coomer and Bennett. Bach is about to be let go. And his eventual replacement is standing on the stage shaking a tambourine. It's not the old Wilco nor the new Wilco but something in between. They seem scrapped together and incomplete. It's a bit awkward to see Bach try to fill the void of lead guitarist while also holding down the keys and providing back up vocals. I would come away scratching my head is all.

Probably; he's chewing Nicorette gum. I don't think he'd quit the Vicodin at this point, though. Look at how dilated his pupils are in those close ups.

Nope; he quit smoking during or after rehab. This was before.
