    I was watching your video "When God Changes Your Plans" and was taking notes. At some point my phone glitched and it skipped to this sermon. But this was EXACTLY what I needed to hear. Yesterday I wrote out a prayer to the Lord as I was studying scripture. I've struggled with understanding social norms since I was a child. It's like everyone is in the loop but me. I believe I have autism. I've adapted and changed to behave in a way that is acceptable. I wear a mask sometimes. I asked the Lord to help me. I struggle with rejecting myself and appealing to the masses in my call or be myself though few may understand. What does the Lord want me to pull from my unique point of view to serve others and what to turn away? It is easy to love others but it is hard to love myself. I've been an outcast most of my life. I truly was not aware I was so different until I became a young adult. I could not pinpoint why people hated me. I was abused at school and at home. Verbally and physically. No matter how much they hit me, I never seemed to snap out of whatever thing they wanted to remove from me and be the person they wanted. I am grateful for God's love and mercy. He knows me. Please pray for me brothers and sisters, that I retain this message in my mind and heart. Thank you.

    Really good sound counsel on how to choose and be a friend. I like this guy’s preaching because there is usually something you can use from it in your life right now! Lots of Bible verses to keep your heart wise, too. Amen.

    I appreciate with what you both taught us from God's word. But you are making the assumption that we have a lot of friends to choose from in the first place. What happens to those who don't have many to choose from to begin with. In America, it's so hard to make friends even in church. It's reality and is sad! Please advice.

    This is a great teaching. My spider-sense went off when I saw Proverbs 62:4 on the screen...considering there are not that many chapters in Proverbs I researched it. I do not rejoice in the little mistakes of others, but it does show us that even us pastors or whoever put the slides together are human too :) If I presented that, I would consider it a compliment if people came up to me to gently correct me after the message. A friend will give counsel right? Big fan of your preaching and I think I'll be watching a lot more of your sermons in the future.

    So then how does someone become a good friend if everyone is avoiding people? This message quotes scripture but misses Jesus' heart. Colossians 3:12-14 in the TPT Friendship isn't for our own selfish gain. Unconditional love doesn't look at what it can get- it looks for what it can give. People cannot be our source to fill us up- that's God's role. He is our creator and source of life first and foremost. Get filled by Him first and let His love fill your heart to overflow...THEN go talk to someone who was irritating you earlier. You will have compassion for them and see them they way God does.

  • @Productions368
    @Productions368 2 года назад

    He talking too much it's simpler than that. If you are align with God you won't attract people who steal, goissup, ect. You don't úes your thinking it's about moving with God by being in alignment with him. It will take care of everything. Keep your focus on God
