Dave, The sharing of your faith journey is inspiring and comforting to me. My wife, of 45 years, died from cancer this past December 7th, so I can share in your pain, sorrow, and loss. I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday, who was telling me about a Mother Teresa podcast where she is talking about how God allows death for each of us at the precise time when we are most ready to say "yes" to his love and invitation to heaven. Listening to your wife, I could hear in her voice, her love for Jesus and her acceptance of His will for her and your family. For me, I found my wife's death to be truly a miracle of His love for her, knowing that this was Him calling her home. I pray that you find comfort in your relationship with Jesus, our Lord, knowing that His will for her is complete, and that His will for you continues in your evangelization of His word. Loving and serving her and our other children in the way they need is exhausting and I’m in a moment of feeling particularly drained. They are insanely inspiring. My heart breaks for you!!! No one understands why the innocent suffer, especially children. They did nothing to deserve that! We won't know how to make peace with that in this life. But thats ok, its ok to be angry with God. If you dont have a relationship you cant be angry, but if you do its ok to let Him know that you dont see the good in terminal illnesses, children suffering, miscarriages, death, maliciousness, evil, etc. He KNOWS HOW YOU THINK N FEEL ANYWAY SO BE HONEST. HE SPITS OUT THE LUKE WARM LIKE VENOM!!! GOD KNOWS I HAVE BEEN ANGRY WITH HIM EVER SINCE MY DAD LEFT AT AGE 6!!! I HAVE BEEN TORMENTED BY DRMONS MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! THATS A LONG TIME AND A LOT OF RAGE HAS BUILT UP OVER ALL THE INJUSTICE IN THIS ENEMY CONTROLLED WORLD. You can learn to let it go, kind of, but if we are honest with ourselves then we know we are outraged with the innocent suffering. I will never understand how or why God chooses to miraculously save some and not others. This video is proof that it is not belief like the new age law of attraction folks would say. So terribly sad. Was she Covid vaccinated? I have two young friends with late stage cancer diagnosis.
She found out she had cancer in 2019, long before Covid ever came about. She fought for a long time.
