My name is Eric and I travel with my cats, “Tara” & “Opie” in a 24ft 2001 Ford Tioga RV named “Freeda” and tow either a 2014 Smart Car named “Tater Tot” or my 2012 Harley Softail Slim named “Black Betty” in a 6x10 trailer. We travel about 35 miles a day chasing 70 degrees year-round since 2010.

Love, love, love how you set everything up. Your happiness is contagious, and delightful! There is something so special about having your own little space that belongs to you. This is possibly one of the smartest things you have ever done. Land is the one investment you can never go wrong with. Those kitties will love their catio when you get that done! Enjoy!!!

Your kitties will love the catio- we built one and our 3 cats spend all day and warm nights outside by choice, they can come inside anytime. Use clear storage containers, cut a hole, for them to have their own den. Felix looks great

We built a catio for my mom she loves it we are in the country so be careful when and what you use to do it. Heavy steel wire and cover the bottom with it too. Also wire the top and the cover it with metal. Make sure you add a screen door for emergencies and lots of lights
In case I didn't do it before: Welcome to AZ! It so cool to see you so happy and getting all your stuff where you like it. I have been subscribed to your channel for several years. Moving those buildings around is definitely NOT a DIY project. It was worth very penny. Exciting to watch you and Kevin make your land yours. I looked at land in 2020 over NE of St. Johns but it didn't "talk" too me if you know what I mean. The area you and Kevin have settled in looks so much nicer. I grew up in Tucson we went camping every summer up in the White Mountains (on the Rez) and I love it up there. Wish I was going camping with ya'll. Have fun!

Doing it right, Eric! :) We came off the road 4 years ago and bought 10 acres in Southern AZ... couldn't be more happy! We still have the RV and travel every now and then, but having a home base is very nice!

It's so good seeing you excited and getting settled into your base camp! Puts a smile on my face! BTW... last week I spotted a Smart car body mounted on a 4x4 side by side atv. It was on a truck with Alberta plates and I even took photos! It was pretty sweet!

GREAT to hear you're increasing the YT video schedule. Hooray!!!! So, so happy for you, Eric!!!!!!!!! Now, wondering if your research has included one of the water-from-solar machines, or it they would be a sponsor? A video popped up in my feed from Idaho homesteading channel where they have a gizmo delivered that takes solar power and makes water with it (twist on an air conditioner condensation) and then filters it so it's safe to drink. They say 3 mths of solar in Idaho summer (in excess of their daily needs) will fill their underground water cistern. Supposed to give them year-round water supply all from the sun, if I heard them right. (They can't dig a well.) So, WOW. Sounds Too-Good-To-Be-True, doesn't it? But one of these things could make you so off-grid you wouldn't even need water delivery. WOW WOW

Looking good. We have our RV and an 8x12 "tool" shed so far, plus the driveway. Probably next year or so before a bigger shed for dwelling place.
I can hear the pride in your voice. Nothing wrong with that. Unlike your last base camp house, you certainly won't have any flooding problems. I like the catio idea. I have a house cat and it got me thinking.
So much fun ~ it would be cool to have a blue box for a kitchen/bar with a breezeway to a blue box for the hang out/movie space to a blue box for the bed/editing/bathroom space.
Wish you would have talked to Randy Jones with incredible tiny homes. 20k for a home with complete bathroom and kitchen. He's great. Going to put several tiny home communities in AZ. Already has one going in crystal, nv. You can get partial or complete off grid. Love him.

Great video. I bet it feels nice having everything together. Hopefully you don't get to lonely now. LOL You could change the green light to a red light. Navy ships go to red lights at night to see and should possibly cut down on the bugs. You can use plants to take care of the bugs.

No one moves like Eric. 😁 I suggested this in a previous comment, you could build a much higher viewing platform, similar to a tree house, and you could use it as an outside studio, or live platform.
I would build a front porch on babe the blue box! Big enough for a small table a couple chairs and your hot tub.

Very inspiring, and good to see you happily taming the desert. I like the idea of raising Babe the Blue Box up off the ground, even if there wasn't a delightful view. No creepy crawlies sneaking up on you that way.
We had a Light pole that came on at night, and off during the day on our property, the electric company maintained it.. It possible your electric company offers those. They really helped give light to the area. Of course, each state is different, most of the country establishments have a light pole on their property somewhere.

Excellent video. Just watching you and your projects makes me happier! Love the length. I found out how drastically your You Tube margin has changed. Information for you tube folks as well as you. I MOSTLY watch videos like yours instead of other forms of entertainment. I seldom watch tv. If quality videos aren't here, I will move on to another form of entertainment. Where will the quality videos go? I'm sure either Google folks or microsoft or Mr. Musk would be glad to help by setting up their own services. Shorts are fine....I watch three or four a day. But I never log on for shorts. I log on for you and your friends. So know that there will always be a place for your entertainment. Blessings.
