I lay my solar panels flat on the ground, so they don't blow over. The added bonus is, I don't have to constantly move the panels to keep up with the arc of the sun.
Eric, I’m certainly no expert, but have you investigated adding a wind turbin to your off grid power generation arrangement? Seems like your property is perfect for the redundancy of wind and solar. BTW, beautiful piece of property.
I had the exact same address issue when I bought a vacant lot and put a house on it back in the 90s. All my paperwork said it was one address and all of the service providers a different address. The different address turned out to be correct!
My Son's father grew up in the same area. The white mountains. I've been to the same "town" you currently live in. Small... Very small. I've been to that general store, played pool in the 1 bar in town, lol my mother in law I believed lived next door to the owner. Have you checked out snowflake yet? Cute little place. I'm an Arizona Native. I currently live in Williams Az the Gateway to the Grand Canyon so welcome neighbor! ❤
Different address on Deed Paperwork than physical location address.... I have heard this horror story before.. Confirm with the place where your deed is registered and with the previous owner. It wont hurt to make sure that your paperwork matches up with your physical plot. May need to make sure the correct "Postal address" is on the deed.
If you decide to put up a parcel drop box on your driveway maybe put both addresses on the box? On my land title, I have two addresses. My street address and my legal land description, which only the government sometimes needs, it reads ‘Lots x-y, something, something,’ Of course, the post office has my street address as my mailing address but then they deliver to a post box down the street. 😆

By being ashamed of the state of your land is a missed opportunity to create meaningful memories with your friends. True friends aren’t there to see what ya got. True friend visit to enjoy your company. Just saying … good luck 🍀

If you want to know your address for sure ask the Post Office. Google doesn't always get it right, my daughter was coming to visit me, at my new summer place. I gave her the address and directions. She didn't follow my directions and just put the address in Google, it took her to the other side of town. I entered the address in my phone and it showed a place a mile away, I contacted Google Maps and they corrected the error in a couple of days.
I know about you are taking your time in doing your videos. In the Campervan puppy, video, you were working on spreading the gravel on your road. The Colonel Sander is up on the Blue Box. Kevin and Phoenix did offer you help with the gravel. With neighbors like Phoenix and Kevin appreciate their help. So you are focusing most of your time developing your version of Vagabond Camp as well as sending time with your friends.
Later on if you ever decide to get another blue box house you could put it next to your existing 1 but have a space in between approximately 16 ft to set up like your own personal movie theater and BBQ patio area real casual just a few chairs already have the movie screen projector and popcorn maker use the gray rocks as the floor later on if you wanted to add a metal roof you can also use it as a garage or carport. For tater tot. Anyway I really like what you've done so far with your property looks awesome
Seems weird to see our neighborhood on your videos, LOL! The Den is our favorite place up here. You’ll also enjoy Charlie Clark’s Orchard in Pinetop on weekends, when they have live music. Love to meet you there sometime and buy you a cold one! Enjoy your life on The Mountain!

I recently checked out the location where you reside on the map and noticed that it doesn't offer the amenities and conveniences that I personally prefer. It seems you're located approximately 40 minutes away from various establishments such as Walmart, Home Depot, gyms. malls, and restaurants Overall, it appears that you lead a fulfilling life, but I must admit that I wouldn't be able to adapt to such a setup as I value having everything conveniently accessible to me. I dislike having to drive long distances for tasks such as going to the gym or grocery shopping. Nonetheless, I wanted to express my gratitude for your videos, and I wish you all the best. Take care.
@@paulineandgrumpy5477 I don't know his exact location. But you are right if it says 40 mins on Google Maps it should take you about 30min drive. Still a one-hour round trip.
I've been getting all sorts of crazy geographical "facts" being told to me by my viewers lately. It's funny in a way. Y'all have me "pinned" in every corner of the state and it's your own bad "assumptions" that make you comment such things like this. I'm minutes away from the stores here, and 10 miles from Home depot. Where did you even come up with "40 miles" away?? Thin air?
I stayed at a new rv park in Hurricane Utah that had address issues like you are having. I'm not sure what the owner had to do, but he got it fixed so deliveries would work! Never a dull moment....I guess the ups and downs make life's journey more interesting!
Wow! movie night, how awesome is that? Nice to make local friends that share your interest in bikes. A real nice environment to be creating for yourself. You're still happy, happy, happy, i see, and Im very happy for you Eric. Hugs, Louise

Eric why are you worried about your batteries being down to 60%? You should easily be able to let those go down into the low 20% range with absolutely no degradation to the batteries.
So happy you found your juju property! I'm actually looking somewhere fairly close to you because the landmarks you reference are what I'm looking at. Your place is looking great in that TV screen is amazing. Green with envy on that motorcycle ride.
When it rains here it rains good. All the lakes in the area are people's flooded property from a bad monsoon season in 2021. I made a video about it. I hope I never see that again. It was scary.

A middle-aged couple recently "came off the road" after fifteen years and purchased a very wooded, undeveloped, twenty-five-acre property on the western edge of our rather rural county. They are in the process of creating a very unique off grid home utilizing four "storage buildings". Currently they are living in their trusty old Class C with their two dogs while putting their new home together to their liking. In late April of this year, they ran into a very similar problem as you did with deliveries, and it was FedEx that clued them into the "Your address does not exist." problem. At first, they were afraid they had been scammed but after consulting with the servicing Post Office it was straightened out. The property they had purchased was once part of a large family-owned farm (founded in the 1700s and staying in the family until 2018 when the surviving family members sold the property off in parcels. The only part of the farm that had EVER had an official address had been the old "Home Place" where the various generations had lived and worked the land. Everything about the property the couple had purchased was correct down to the GPS coordinates, but it had never had a separate and distinct address. Now it does and all the delivery services AND the company that is under contract to pick up the trash are singing out of the same hymn book.
Not uncommon for postal service to switch up addresses. Parents had it done to the. Post office gave them a year to use both but they had to update everyone.
Funny we moved to the country 15 years ago and still have the same problem with addresses out road literally has 5 different names for the road depending on if you're on gps, at the county, ups/FedEx, post office and the locals lol
