There is a way but u need Sonic and Tails. So me and my cousin we're messing around in that part without going right. And the strangest thing happened. After u press left for the first time and go to the area where u have to press right somehow Tails hit the wall and then went through Sonic, and at the exact moment he went through Sonic my cousin spin dashed down and flew to the right! We tried to do it again and we did it's really easy when u get the hang of it. So if u master that trick I think u can beat it without pressing right.

Theoretically, this challenge could still be possible. If we were to use a second controller to control Tails use his ability to pick up Sonic to carry him right. Of course, since Tails can’t pick Sonic up off the ground underwater. So Sonic would need to jump to grab on to Tails. Then Tails could carry Sonic to the right. Granted, this would be tough as a human. So perhaps someone could test this theory in a TAS (on PC). Unless moving right as Tails counts as breaking the rules. Idk just a thought.
Maybe tails can carry him left so that he doesn't have to turn left himself, then he'll be able to glide right as knuckles

That could work but that would still involve a right press of some sort... but when doing that section I think mighty can prob reverse his slam in some way to pass the level so that may work instead
When tails carry sonic underwater,it pulls tails down, so if we make tails swim high enough and make him carry sonic there will be some time to make tails go right

9:34 You’re kind of glossing over something here. If you beat Heavy Shinobi while facing left, there’s no way for you to turn around in order to get to the capsule and finish the level. You actually need to beat him without ever facing left, which requires you to not use any directional input at all in order to maintain your rightward direction from when you first entered the arena. And yes, it is possible, I tested it.

He beat the game with 0 right presses and 3 left presses.
Fun fact: the two ways to get out of the bee in CPZ is to spam “A” and roll the joystick or get a player to help you
